It works exactly as hoped. One 100 mg capsule in the morning on an empty stomach, and it hastens shaking off morning brain fog. A second one taken two hours later extends my energy without any feelings like caffeine buzz. A third one between 3 and 4 pm, if needed, staves off mental fog and low energy, keeping my motivation going in to the early evening, without side effects. If I were to take three in the early evening instead of one at a time during the day, I would become calm and relaxed, which is good for anxiety and sleep. The effects are subtle sensations, yet very much appearant in effect. Whether or not these would be someone else's experiences, I do not know. For me though, it is exactly as research suggests. I highly recommend this brand, and supplimen. ***UPDATE*** I have now finished my first bottle of Pure Encapsulation's Rhodiola Rosea, and it worked good on my energy level, anxiety, and depression. I've found that for me, sometimes it takes as much as 600 mg through out the day to feel therapeutic effects. This does not make me think less of the product, more a statement of how I use it. In fact, this addition to my review is to further endorse this brand! As I came close to the end if my first bottle of 90, 100mg capsules, I decided to shop for a less expensive alternative, and since I'm using higher dosage, decided to try NOW Foods' 60, 500 mg package. For the price of the Pure Encapsulation 90, 100 mg, I got two bottles for 60, 500 mg from NOW Foods. After taking the NOW Foods for a week, I am finding little to no therapeutic effect - even at 1000 mg per day! The difference in effect is so major, that I will not bother using any more of the NOW Foods product, and have just ordered more Pure Encapsulations! I've found they have a 180, 100 mg bottle for $30.30, and with Amazon Prime, no shipping cost. Considering the relief I receive from this brand, $30.30 per month is a reasonable cost for such a helpful medication - with no side effects. I can not emphasize enough what a help this brand is for my anxiety, depression, and energy level! This may not be everyone's experience, however it is mine, and I am gladly sharing it with anyone who may be wondering if different brands work differently. NOW Foods seems to be reviewed as good by some people, but my results were not positive, and Pure Encapsulations does work for me exactly as the best reviews perport.

I have taken Rhodiola for at least 10 years. For the last couple, I was taking a pretty high end brand. It seemed fine, but I was intrigued by this brand. I was initially disappointed that it was a lower dose. I got over that disappointment quickly when I realized how effective this brand was. Whoa! After a couple weeks of consistently feeling better, I switched my husband over, as well, and he soon said he doesn’t want to be without it. We take it in the morning when we get up. Both of us have experienced increased energy levels and better mood. Gave it to my 83 year old mom today (who has been taking my former brand) - she told me a few hours later to order her some today! It’s not like a stimulant-driven energy, it’s just an “I feel good today” energy - or “l feel like getting some things done today” kind of feeling. Rhodiola has been recommended to several people close to me by their physician to help treat depression. So even doctors are noticing. Note that it does not guarantee that you will feel wonderful every single day - many things go into that. But you’ve got a much better chance of a good, productive day with this supplement. And in my experience, brand matters.

Damn! It works but use with caution ⚠️ it can make u too reactive and be too much. I wouldn’t take it but 3x a week, works well for focus and even sex drive.
