Nature Forever House Shaped Sparrow and Tit Nest Box, Brown

There are only five stars to give, otherwise i would have given 100 stars.....its an excellent product with best quality...First of all i would like to mention that i am writing this review after 07 months of its purchase...i have purchased and hanged it at my house, but no bird came........i have waited for so many months but invain..I am very disappointed....But after 7 months of waiting to my surprise one day sparrows occupied this house. I felt very happy. its an amazing feeling of watching the birds entering into this box and fetching small twigs, dry leaves and small stems of plants in to the hole.... they work very hard through out the day...My waiting is nothing before this amazing feeling of watching the birds....." Birds are the sign for purity of love and peace in mankind". So please adopt the nest boxes and protect the birds..........

The birds made it their home. It’s super good to have in the garden. Keep it at a place where humans don’t go too often and too close. The hole is good enough for the sparrows. Clean it only after they’ve moved out. Then hang again.

Very Natural Product, it is good, but the finishing is bad, edges are rough and prickly, otherwise 5 stars for the effort. Ventillation holes are drilled at the bottom, It is suggested to add few ventilation holes on the sides towards the top. I had them done at carpenter and smoothen the rough patches near the holes inside the box. I refined the rough edges with sand paper. It is good to open box to check the edges and the nails inside so that the birds are not hurt.

This is one of the best thing we have ever bought for Birds(sparrows). It is exactly as mentioned in the description except that sometimes the loop is hooked with only one screw. We got it hooked with two loops instead of one for extra safety. Since we bought at a very good time it was almost in middle of their breeding season hence the couple nested within 2 weeks. There were many suitors who came to check this new home. You can call the number for Nature Forever (available on website) for any queries, they are quick to respond. We were worried that the hole might be small for them as all sparrows were just going half way and came out as if stuck, but The Nature Forever guys informed us that they are checking out the house and the hole is perfect. We are very happy with the recycled wood used and the quality of the material. Soon we are planning to buy a feeder and water pot. Go for it. We will be adding a few more to our house. Update - 04/08/21 - we cleaned it for the first time last month and there have been 5-6 times the sparrows have bred 1-2 babies

The Product looks really great.. its built very good using perfect technique. But as far as the hole is concerned its really very very small. had to manually make the hole big. Now i am searching for a perfect place to fix it and wait for the sparrows to play there. Its really an amazing product. Hope to install it ASAP and see sparrows...!

Writing a review nearly a year later. Since i wanted to ensure that i provide a correct feedback on the product. Overall the product is good, with an excellent finish. Made of Pine wood to the extent what i know it looks nice. Coming to the actual usage now, i kept the box in my gallery since lot of sparrows comes there. For last one year the sparrows check the house, sit on the hole but do not enter inside it. I personally found the hole too small for them and finally after an year have increased the dimension of the hole. Now hoping that the sparrows should make a home in it. NF should review the dimensions of the entrance, I also found the cleaning the box bit tedious and NF should find an easier way to clean the box ...may be a hinged side wall whcih can be opened and closed after cleaning. Overall good though bit pricey

This product is of quite a decent quality, it is not actually made of wood but a type of compressed wood fibre material, it smells like an old book. I ordered this as sparrows were frequently loitering around the window grill, I am not sure whether this will work for you if birds are not in your vicinity. After about a day or two they started entering the house. I gave this a 4 Star as I found that the hole of the house is quite small and birds cannot enter it, so I need to choose out about 1cm radius bigger hole and it made the things Right and birds are now able to enter it. Also you need one screwdriver to fix the Hook. Rest every thing is good enough. I am posting some pics hope you find them useful.
