Papers in the box is great! but when I used Papers outside of the box did not burn at all.However I made the paper wet and let it dried then it started to work great.

Our Harry Potter fan was ecstatic to receive this and spent his own money on it. The first attempts of it not working we chalked up to user error. However, it never actually worked no matter how many adults tried and followed the directions completely.By the time we talked our son into returning the product it was no longer eligible. He really wanted to keep it just in case it would work someday as a fire wand is a huge deal to him and it looks “cool”.Do not purchase this, if you get it to work (we did have it smoke a bit on occasion) that’s the best it will do. Huge disappointment, poor quality and misleading.

I got this for my Harry Potter obsessed 36 year old daughter, yes you read that right 36 year old. Her husband let her decorate the guest bathroom in all Harry Potter motif. She LOVES this!! The one thing I will say is this. Follow the directions. When it says "wet the paper and then let it dry"... We the paper and let it dry! Wetting the paper and than letting it dry must activate whatever makes the wand shoot fire. Worth the money! Got it for her Birthday!

I got this for my teenage daughter for Christmas! Once she figured it all out, she loved it! It’s a lot of fun! Be careful it will burn things…not necessarily catch anything on fire but can leave a burn mark on items it lands on.

For the people complaining it's not working, they didn't read the directions. You can't just stuff paper in it and expect it to work. You have to know how to load flash paper. The best way is to make it about 2 cm long and then twist it. Twisted about five times and then stuff it in.Works as described.

My son loves it. He feel like a real witch.

First of all, the thing never even worked so I gave the wand to a friend that likes Harry Potter. And second, most importantly, I forgot that the box was left in the car (which had nothing but the extra paper in it) and it SPONTANEOUSLY CAUGHT ON FIRE!!! Causing major damage to the car!!
