The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this matcha. Delicious taste. No seaweed smell or taste. No bitterness. Smooth and creamy. Froths very well in my frother. I bought it before. It was all written in Japanese on packaging. Now it’s a new packaging written in English but the content is the same. Great taste and bright vibrant green colour. I wish they didn’t change the packaging. I liked the authentic packaging. It’s not stated where it is made on packaging. Distributed by UK company. Does this mean packed in the UK? Wouldn’t like that. Tea is always best and fresher if it’s being packed straight at the source…

Looks authentic, bright green rather than brownish green, tastes reasonable but not as grassy as other premium brands, overall good value

This is very high quality matcha, the colour is such a vibrant green, the taste is somewhat earthy, but I really like it. It has a vibrant quality and very scared quality tea. 🍵 I’ve attached pictures of how vibrant the green colour is on its own, and also with milk 🥰 relaxing uplift of energies, it is good value for money.

Apart from the packaging (I generally like to use matcha in jars or tins for ease of use), this is a great ceremonial matcha powder that is perfect for hot or iced matcha lattes. (Personally i think it's too good for cooking and baking!) Will happily buy again! (5 star review for taste, 3 stars for packaging - hence overall 4 stars)

I have been on matcha for the past 3 years and tried numerous brands. Some were directly from Japan and mostly from Amazon. Comparing the greenness of matches is always the first thing I do when I open a new packet. The colour of this matcha has exceed my expectation despite the affordable price. It's very very close to the greenest matcha I ordered from Japan Uji but with 1/3 of price. I will order this one instead to save the money and effort to order from Japan. Another big plus is its organic. Highly recommended!

A ceremonial (aka non bitter) matcha powder should be dark green, as the leaves are harvested young ('first harvest'). This brand delivers exactly that. A tea that tastes 'herby' and not bitter. I am trying out different highly rates brands of tea and so far this is the best. I just wish this tea was organic and in a bigger size. Try it with home made almond milk (just blend good quality almonds such as afghan almonds with water and filter, and mix with this powder. It makes a devine matcha latte. ).
