Picked one up on black friday and using one as a drive for all my games.exceptionally fast drive but that speed comes at a price! Not just for the SSD alone but also if you want to keep it at its peak performance. I currently run a low prolife heatsink on it from a brand called Eluteng that encases the SSD and provides additional cooling for the underside of the SSD. However I still find the temperatures reach 84'c under sustained loads.I use premium Arctic TP-3 thermal pads instead of the ones that come with the Eluteng heatsink. I recommended that you buy a Thermalright heatsink for this SSD if youre a heavy user. Either a HR-09 or HR-10. Low profile heatsinks like the ones that can fit in your PS5 arent going to be enough keep this monster cool. I have an HR-09 on the way!

I've quite owned a few SN850x NVME drives (2/4/8tb) and have always found the performance under heavy read/writes to be fantastic. Sure these fall into the upper bracket of premium pricing, but to me money well spent as the rated endurance of these drives is very high, coupled with the dram that will help the longevity. I've had none develop a fault so far either.Best of all the 5 year limited warranty.I'm always on the lookout when these go on sale !!!.

Recently upgraded from a 4tb nvme to this 8tb as I was running out of room. This did not come with a heatsink so I had to look for one on amazon to fit. Again very easy to do and the system recognised this device without issue. Very pleased with this, especially for the price, great value for money.
