Novel and easy to use
I absolutely love this more than any other stand mixer I’ve had. And I’ve had several in the last 50 years. It is light weight and so simple to use and clean. I was a little scared of it at first because it is so different from other stand mixers. But it’s simple. The bowl is a large sturdy plastic that you just twist a quarter tun to lift it and clean it. The sturdy mixing part just slips on with your choice of beaters already snapped in. I got three different beaters plus a dough hook plus the insert to add scrapers. The scrapers just slide in and scrape the bowl outer edge and inner edge while mixing. No stopping to scrape the bowl down. Having a lid with a sliding window allows adding ingredients with no stopping or flying flour. It’s so worth the money and I bake much more because it cuts prep time noticeably. I bake cookies once or twice a week now - my family loves it!

Great Mixer - Some tips on use...
I've had this mixer since 2021. That's also the last year I bought bread from a store (outside of sourdough, but finally figured that out last year...). It makes making bread go so much faster (I did it by hand before). And it can handle heavy dough. I make a honey wheat dough that is heavy! (Makes 2 loaves and 6 dinner rolls) Mixer gets it through about 95% of the process. I have to pull it out and kind of knead for a minute after because it tries to climb out of the bowl at that point. To speed up the process between batches (I usually do several doughs in one day) I bought an extra bowl and crank drive.Anyway, I love this mixer. I want to address the common issues in the bad reviews.-SLIDING DOUGH/STICKING TO HOOK- there is a learning curve when it comes to order of operations. The FIRST time I used it, I had the sliding problem since I added the dry ingredients first and then added wet to them. Seems to work best by putting in the wet ingredients first and then the dry (half a cup at a time). And then speeding up the paddle as the dough gets thicker to kind of 'fling' it off the hook for kneading. If it's going too slow, it will just spin on the hook. Additionally, if there is too much flour, it will slide because there is no friction. I've been able to adjust by adding a few drops of water.-COOKIES - yeah, I don't really use it for cookies that often. But it would be best to use the dough hook for cookie dough. The cookie paddles can't handle it. Maybe if they were metal instead of plastic and just smaller versions of the dough hooks...but alas....-SMALL BATCHES - it doesn't do well with small batches (like one loaf of bread). This isn't a problem for me since I'm not going to pull out a mixer and make one loaf of bread. For loose mix like cake, batters, pie filling, the bowl scraper attachment is genius.-OVERHEATING - Have NOT had this issue. Even with my heaviest dough. I run it about 15-20min during the process. It might just be the luck of the draw on that one.-PARTS THAT BREAK - I haven't had any breaking parts. But that's because I read the bad reviews before I bought it. The whip drive I have is metal, not the plastic one. I don't use the cookie paddles at all. The whisk paddles should be used with whisking things (cream, eggs, butter...). No issues with the cake paddles. I have a back up crank drive since I've seen that those break, but the original one is still going strong.CLEANING - as this was my first mixer, the cleaning process seems fine to me. But I hear the KA mixer is easier. Hot water, soap, a straw brush (The ridges in the bow) and it's clean for me.

Learning Curve
So far, I am happy with the Artiste. I have only made 2 loaves of bread in it, so I am still evaluating the machine. I had a Bosch which I loved, and it was a work horse for me for 29 years. When the Bosch died I decided to get a Kitchen Aid. I used that for probably 5 years till it got to the point we were repairing it way too often. I went with the Artiste because of the price, cheaper than the Bosch, but I wanted to return to the Bosch style. I make lots of bread and it can be hard on these machines. I can only say so far that right now I am happy, but it is time that will tell if that remains to be true. After using it the first time I realized there is a learning curve, it will take some practice to determine how to add each ingredient in order to get the beaters to actually mix it up instead of just pushing them around the bowl. This does not concern me, I just need to learn the little tricks. I really do like that the center piece of the bowl can easily be removed for cleaning, my old Bosch wasn't so easy and it was a pain. I do love the way it looks on my counter.

Necessary for my baking needs
This is the most expensive kitchen appliance I have ever purchased. I saw it being used on cooking channel and was impressed by the performance. I liked the revues so I decide to give it a try. The weight, the suction ability, the capacity and the fact that you can see what is going on in the bowl without having to stop the machine and lift the top. I made a batch of cookies first thing and i was impressed. Noise level is low, its almost absent. This is a very good machine for a person who like me have problems with their wrists and problems lifting heavy items. For me this was a necessity. I will update this review in a few months.

This product is a watered down Bosch Not worth it
first, I have owned several nutrimill products. Also have owned top of the line Kitchen aids, Ankersrum, Bosch - mixers. I’d say Bosch and Ankersrum were the best - when I saw this nutrimill and it had a smaller footprint, thought I would try it and leave it on the counter. Tried first to do 2 loaves of bread. The whole time it mixed, I could smell the motor burning up. No smoke. But the smell was distinctively the burning smell from overworked motors. I was disappointed and decided to return it. Well, I did. It’s been 2 weeks, and they. Have received it (I track my returns) and still no refund. This is in keeping with Amazon’s lack of requirement of it’s vendors to refund immediately upon pickup by UPS - remember we all order things, pay up front, based on unknown sellers, but having trust in Amazon - well those days are over. I thought Nutrimill being a big company, I would be ok to give it a try. We are talking $370.00 they are tying up on my credit card. I am so tired of this online buying. It is not what it was. I’m so ticked, and there doesn’t seem to be a link to reach out to Nutrimill - it’s not worth the aggravation… I miss going to a store and just buying it. Period
