Vehicle Steering Knob (ST-RED-01)

Got it yesterday. Sharing first impressions from installation and one day of use in Bangalore. It seems like a high quality product. Packaging was a bit crumbled but that's ok as the product arrived fine. Installation was super easy. You need a standard 4-way screwdriver to install, nothing else. It comes with two silicone bands that can be placed between the knob and steering to safeguard steering from getting any scratches from the metal of knob. Nice touch. The metal part of the knob is heavy so definitely it is a quality product. I used it in Bangalore today and took many u-turns and sharp turns and it was a breeze. I am yet to see how it holds up in long-term but initial impression is five stars. Highly recommended. Go for it.

Sturdy, and comfortable to the hand

Using it for a while now. Bought it @ 599 , even it looked pricey but looked good so purchased it.About the product :Pros:Good qualityEasy installation.No manual needed actually ( Just unscrew the nut separate 2 pieces , then put around the steering wheel and screw that nut again :) )Cons:It doesn't fold up or to any side , so if you are looking for a fold-able knob , its not for you.But at 700 , this is outrageous .

I had been using a different steering knob for my car for last 5 years. It was extremely comfortable, so I was surprised when I started using this one and found it to be uncomfortable. On trying to ascertain the reason, I found that this particular knob has a curved metal handle which leaves a very small gap between the holding area and the attaching area. The earlier knob had a flat handle leaving a large holding area. It's a shame (the faulty construction design) as the knob otherwise has great build quality and even looks great...

Received this product yesterday, the quality is excellent, it looks rich, installation was also easy.. On fitting and trying the product I realized one issue... Your fingers rubb against the knob hook while turning the steering. That is very uncomfortable, I am long time user of steering knob... This must be my 4th knob. Never in earlier knobs I experienced this... I think I can manage it buy holding it in a different way.. But still thought I'd sharing the observation..

The product is good and sturdy,Steering knob is also known as suicide knob. It is not really meant to be used to cars with power steering. With the help of the knob, you can definitely steer with ease. Car rotates too much with very less effort, This sometimes is not a good thing and wont have good control over the car as you do with bare hand.And the knob obstructs your hand movement if you try to rotate the wheel without the help of knob.

I have been using this product for the past couple of months on my Safari.I was a bit apprehensive after reading through a couple of reviews mentioning that the finger will get stuck between the holder and the clamp etc... But it's extremely comfortable and sturdy.No rattling noisesIt's got a good grip - thanks to the rubberized holder.Would go for it again.

It's a good quality product. Just that the leather cut out that needs to be placed where bolt is present for fixing it on stearing wheel is small. Rest all good.
