Exactly as described. I love them! They are the perfect size for salad, pasta, or any other delectable food you don't want running over the edge. These porcelain bowls/plates are substantial (weighty) and cleaned up beautifully by hand and in the dishwasher. I love that they are safe for the microwave. I may order another set to have eight, as they coordinate well with my everyday china--perfect color.

Good quality but these bowls are not white, they are cream color.
