Absolutely perfect.
I was a little skeptical on buying this but wanted something lighter than what I carried. I've had it about two weeks or so and so far it fits all my needs. I did buy spare tools off of roxons website directly. It's is definitely lightweight and that doesn't hinder the tools durability. The ability to swap out components on the fly is the best function on a multitool I've ever experienced. The tools all lock into place very well with not much rattle and the handle design is nice and doesn't bit into the hand during work. Easily the best edc multitool I've owned worth every penny.

Great
Good quality, a nice set of pliers and a useful selection of tools. Having the ability to swap out tools you might not have much need for with something more suitable is the obvious highlight though, making a very useful tool.

Impressed by Roxon’s innovation and initial quality
Lifelong user and collector of blades & multitools here. Using and discussing them is a favorite topic. However not a pro that subjects my tools to hard daily use. I am very impressed by Roxon and others throwing their hat into the multitool ring and trying new things. I mention this because I believe the US household name Letter “L” multitool brand has sort of hit a rut. Their designs have become more iterative than innovative in my humble opinion. I have most of their past winners, but they’ve ceased to please me lately. Some of the tools on the Free series are poor and seem like design afterthoughts Additionally, they have stopped making one of my favorite specialty products, the (Squirt line with wire stripper pliers) The warning is that Innovators like Roxon can eventually take over the current leader’s market share. The “L” brand also seems to be playing the limited edition and scarcity card. The prices on some of their latest @ $200 plus are outside the reach of the working man and seem more of a boutique knife-o-phile product. Not an exact parallel but the example of Rough Ryder doing affordable product now in Case’s traditional segment comes to mind. I’m just not swung by the made in the US argument all the time and value choice as a consumer. Back to the review at hand. The Roxon Flex is obviously an innovative product given it is user customizable. They aren't the first here with a modular tool but they did it well. It’s fit, finish, and ergonomics are competitive. Attachments are easy to swap, and the door appears open for the aftermarket to create a lot of hobby and activity specific mods. Sight adjustment, or pipe smoking tools come to my mind. Not sure I’d want something like a mustache comb. But for the person that does, it’s an option. I have purchased the FT02 kit which provides scalpel blade holders and a serrated blade. Overall the attachments are easy to swap with a little care and concentration. All blades and attachments feel great and I don’t see any un milled or sharp edges. The tool and attachments feel like a smooth bar of soap In the hand. Everything locks up as would be expected for a multi. The user is somewhat limited in attachment placement based on their length, so the flexibility is not unlimited. Can be noted that having a scalpel holder loaded with a blade can present some risk of snag and cut by blindly grabbing the tool. This is not Roxon specific. I’ve added a scalpel mod to a Skeletool and must exercise similar caution. My use of this tool has been limited to hobby, outdoor, and lighter home repair activities. It has performed very well. Long term will tell. The more screws, springs, and moving parts any multitool or device has, the greater potential of failure. One area I don’t worry about is scissors. Owning other Roxon tools like the KS2, I find their scissors the best among all multis. The Flex has a simpler scissor but it is comfortable for me. My main concern is the sliding tool locks on the handles. They are plastic and create a potential future dirt and debris trap. It seems taking the overall Flex foundation apart for cleaning might be tough, but I’ll reserve judgement. Any multi is a dirt trap. For that reason, I generally sheath carry any multitool. It seems the locks are needed to be on the safe side if you want to attempt pocket carry. The pocket clip seems relatively unobtrusive and up to the pocket carry task but the tool is a tad heavy for me to carry that way. The Flex has been a worthy addition to my rotation of multitools. I recommend if you like the modular nature of it which seems a good value prop and overall a good tool for the money. If weight and ease of deployment are major concerns there are better options.

A game-changer. Great build quality. Excellent value.
Really nicely designed and constructed. It's been my EDC for a couple months now, and I'm extremely satisfied. The range of replaceable blades is impressive, and the ease of installing and uninstalling is surprisingly easy. All blades lock open, and both sides can be locked closed. The plain blades can use a bit of fine honing, but they're sharp enough out of the box. The handling is excellent, and it's almost on a par with my legendary Victorinox SwissTool, for less than half the price (and all that blade changing coolness). I've had only one issue -- the shape of the plier pivot point makes it possible to catch a bit of flesh when they are opened fully, and if that corner were rounded the pinch would never happen. Maybe they'll read this review . . . .It's worth noting that it takes a few days to get used to the procedure for opening and replacing blades. Once you get the few simple requirements (which just aren't obvious), changing blades is easy and consistent. One thing you must remember at all times, though -- unlock the side lock! I kept forgetting that, and then wondering why the blades would only emerge a little bit. Otherwise, the whole thing is very well done. The pliers are precise, the tip almost qualifies as a tweezer, and the replaceable wire nipping blades work well. I love that the pliers are spring-loaded (the SwissTool pliers are not). While the SwissTool is an excellent large-scale replacement for a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife, the Roxon is that -- if you want it to be -- and all sorts of other things, depending on the extra blades you acquire.Attached is a photo of the tool with my current set of blades, mostly for cutting, shaping, carving, and opening. The file is diamond grit, medium on one side, fine on the other. The can opener is the Victorinox style, which actually works and doesn't cut off your finger. The second photo shows the blades left over, including the ones that ship with the tool. There's a hex-drive philips and a 3rd party set of bits (https://amzn.to/4kLv6J9) that all fit into the Roxon case, a largish scissor, a nailfile with metric & imperial ruler, some blanks in case you don't want to fill all the blade slots, a large smooth blade, a Victorinox-style aggressive but precise wood saw, and a small and a large scalpel blade holder. Every blade sold comes with a durable plastic see-through storage case. The third photo shows the plier full-open pinch-point that would benefit from a small machining mod.

Great product
Great tool and is the perfect size. Easy to use. My husband loves it and uses it daily. Will be buying another one for my son!

Broke while changing onboard tool set.
The button on the plier snapped off without any hard use. This is a fragile tool and seems poorly made. I contacted the company’s customer service and the response is slow and unsatisfactory. I do not recommend this to anyone who will use it seriously.

So versatile
For far too long, I would have to get a bigger multitool than I needed to get the tools I wanted, or I’d have to pay a lot or buy a poor quality tool. I have been able to add the tools I want and this is well made. It’s my new everyday carry.
