I previously owned Panasonic Arc 5. Before that Braun S3 and S7, Philips. I prefer electric shavers because it gives close shave and less irritation. So everyday shave is possible. However, the major downside is an expensive head replacement (every year). You can buy a new machine instead of buying the head because the price is almost comparable. I felt that I lose money going after high-end models because of specs. Purchasing a high-end model every year is not possible. So I thought to go for a low-end simple machine, which performs the same job. So I find this model, which is handy, less expensive with a spare blade, and dry and wet shave. So I bought this model, which performs the same job as the high-end models. I find no difference. Sometimes we may think that we need 3 or 5 blades system or rotating blades. But single-blade system is very handy in hard-to-reach areas. I use hybrid approach for my shaving. i.e., I use electric shaver + razor for finishing. For the razor, I relied on Gillette cartridge razors. But with a few shaves, the blades are less sharp and need a replacement. That too was costly. So I switched to a double edge safety razor, which is also a single blade system thus gives good control in achieving a close shave. The blade cost is Rs. 2 for two shaves. So combined with Wahl shaver, your cost of shaving every year turns out to be very cost-effective. Above all, the single blade system in electric shaver and razor gives a very good shaving experience and closest shave compared to all other methods (Arc 5,Gillette 5 blade cartridge, etc). I learned all these after spending a lot of money on these systems. Hope my review helps others. First-time electric shaver users should first train their face with the electric shavers for at least a week before jumping to conclusions because I see many reviews against electric shavers. It is same for trying razors from electric shavers. Your skin needs some time to adjust between different methods. Once adjusted, you will get close shave.

I have and had various Wahl's products mostly because of the quality and ruggedness. This way I was not disappointed but the foil shaver which this is, proved to be a problem for me. rashes, redness and allergic reaction on using thus shaver for three times. I had to stop shaving this and go back to traditional. So as far as the product is sleek, rugged, ergonomic and batter life. Too bad it did not work for me.

It’s not value for money. Size is not exactly as it’s shown. It’s not water resistant. You will feel irritation after using it. And sound is so loud.

After exchange the charging cable is good. The Wahl Travel shaver comes with a beautiful metal case with two replacement foils and two replacement heads. The size of the Wahl shaver is less than one third of my other Foil shaver. The motor (engine) is very very strong compared to other much larger foil shavers I have used. The weak point of this shaver is that it can't be used while it's in charging, because the connector of the charging cable (which is quite short) is very very sensitive, it loses current if You move it slightly. During shaving everyone has to do complex movements, so no chance in using it with electric power directly from the socket. One has to depend on the rechargeable battery built-in, which might loose capacity with prolonged use. I just got it Yesterday, so I can't judge about the battery capacity. Disappointing shaving results. Don't buy. Not returnable!

Hate the product, doesn’t work properly and if you hold firmly to your skin it hurts. I got a lot of small bleeding. But for the price I’m not surprised. Don’t waste your money buying this.

Se cercate qualcosa da usare come rifinitore, questo rasoio è quello che ci vuole. Lo uso in accoppiata al mio S5 per i punti dove non si riesce bene il S5 data la grandezza della testina, tipo sulle orecchie in alto, all'attaccatura con la testa (sia S5 che questo li uso praticamente solo per radermi la testa). Quando lo acquistai lo presi per utilizzarlo da solo ma dopo una settimana mi sono reso conto che non era adatto nel senso che, ho una crescita molto rapida dei capelli e sono durissimi, ma a me piace avere il cranio sempre a zero, ovviamente zero per modo di dire perchè qualsiasi rasoio di questa tipologia ha sempre una rete protettiva tra le lame e la pelle. La questione è che essendo un oggetto così piccolo non ha un motore chissà quanto potente e anche la batteria non è grande per cui con i capelli molto duri, utilizzandolo tutti i giorni la batteria mi durava un paio di rasature e comunque sentivo il motore sforzare molto, a vole addirittura la lama si incastrava nei capelli, specialmente quando la batteria sta scaricando e non riesce a dare piena potenza al motore. Tra l'altro non è utilizzabile col cavo. Alcuni modelli collegandoli alla rete vanno a piena potenza bypassando la fase di carica, questo no per cui non serve a nulla alimentarlo. Bisogna che si ricarichi per riutilizzarlo e mi è capitato di restare con mezza testa rasata e mezza no. E' per questo che lo consiglio per un uso accoppiato ad un rasoio più potente con cui si fa la prima passata e dove non si riesce con quello, nei punti più ostici, o qualche punto che si è saltato per sbaglio, si rifinisce con questo che ha una maneggevolezza assoluta, è di una comodità unica. Usandolo così la batteria dura tanto e il motore non sforza. Considerato anche il costo e la qualità, tra l'altro in confezione avrete un set di lame di ricambio e una retina protettiva nuova, direi che è un best buy, ma valutate sempre bene cosa ci dovete fare. Se pretendete di fare barbe da 3-4-5 giorni, capelli lunghi ecc lasciate proprio stare, i risultati saranno pessimi, ma non per colpa del rasoio, non è proprio fatto per quello.
