Very good product!! Super (long) detailed review below
I’m going to try to make this review as informative as possible so you know everything you need to know about this product. I used this product for my Ariel Halloween costume and it worked great!! I’ve never dyed my hair before so I was hesitant to even do anything to it, but decided to go ahead and try this temporary hair color conditioner—and I’m glad I did. My process: - I washed and shampooed my hair really well and let it air dry completely (I stayed home and didn’t do much while it dried to ensure my hair and scalp stayed clean). - I sectioned my hair off and applied this conditioner little by little with my fingers, trying to be careful not to get too much on my scalp (I still got a lot on my scalp so that’s unavoidable). - I clipped up all the sections and little buns to sit. The bottle says to wait 5-10 minutes but I probably honestly did about 30-45 minutes before rinsing it all out. - I bent over the tub and just alternated between filling up a cup of water from the faucet and pouring it over my head and just putting my head directly under the faucet. I used my fingers to scrub my scalp and mess around with my hair to get as much of the extra conditioner off. I used cool water for this but I’m not sure if the temperature matters. I didn’t not use any shampoo or conditioner in this step. Just water. - After I felt that I got most of the conditioner out, I put my hair up in a towel wrap for a few minutes. - I then brushed my hair out and immediately started blowdrying it to eventually style it. Please look at my attached pictures. The first two pictures are from the day I dyed it and styled it. By that point it had been about 8-10 hours since I had the dye in. Very good color—much better than I expected. The second two pictures are how my hair looks now after two showers and 6 shampoos with rigorous scrubbing (I’m trying to get the color gone). And the last picture is what my normal (styled) hair typically looks like. That last picture is from a year or two ago so my natural hair is a teeny tiny bit darker now but this is the best reference picture I have. My natural hair texture is wavy/curly and a thick/fine mixture, and I have a lot of split ends. Things I noticed about this product that I think are important: - This product did absolutely no damage to my hair. My hair felt totally normal to the touch, the only difference was the color. - It’s not really noticeable in the pictures, but I have two natural white streaks of hair. Those streaks came out hot pink from the dye instead of red. So if you have super light colored hair, you might not get the same red that I did—it will probably be more of a pink color. So just be aware of that. - I would definitely recommend using some kind of gloves to apply this to your hair. I used my hands and they totally got dyed too. But the good news is it came off faster than I would expect normal dye to. It’s been a few days and I’ve washed my hands a bunch and shampooed my hair a thousand times so at this point my hands are pretty much normal. The only thing is my nails are still hot pink. So again I would recommend gloves for this. - The longer you leave it on, the stronger the color will be. That’s pretty intuitive, but I didn’t leave the conditioner on as long on the bottom section of my hair, and it definitely wasn’t at red as the top. - I used about 1 & 1/4 bottles of this conditioner to achieve the color you see in the pictures for the amount and length of hair that I have. I will say I definitely think that I could’ve used the whole two bottles but I got lazy on the bottom section of hair because I was running out of time. So just be mindful of how many bottles you will need. - When rinsing my hair out in the tub/shower, as long as the water was running, the dye coming out of my hair just went straight down the drain. My white tub is not stained at all which is amazing. But if you leave the dye sitting on an area of course it’s going to stain. My counter tops have a few splotches now but I’m sure something can get it off. - The price for one bottle wasn’t my favorite—especially as a college student. But I had a gift card that covered one of the bottles so it was okay. - When putting my hair up in a towel after rinsing, my wet hair did leave a lot of red/pink all over the towel. But I put all my towels in the wash today with cold water and all the pink and red came out. So that was amazing. - No matter how many times I showered and washed my hair, color was always dripping out of it. So just don’t be surprised if it doesn’t seem like the water will ever run clear because it won’t - After my hair was dry styled, there was absolutely no transfer of color on any clothes, pillow, or skin or anything. Loved that. - Forgot to mention, after the multiple shampoos and scrubbing my scalp, the dye came off of my scalp so that was great. Wasn’t able to get that effect when I dressed up as Ariel but maybe if I was more careful and scrubbed my scalp more when I was just rinsing it would’ve come off better. - The color definitely loved my the ends of my hair the best. As I said, I have a lot of split ends and breakage near the end so I guess that part was just much more susceptible to the color seeping in. So I’m sure I’ll have some red down there for a couple weeks. - This conditioner definitely wasn’t as temporary as I was initially hoping, but I got it washed out enough to where I think it kinda looks cool and I’m fine with just having it slowly fade out rather than forcing it out. So if you have a formal event in the near future, I probably wouldn’t recommend this product if you want your normal hair color back soon. But if long lasting is what you’re looking for—get this!! I think that’s all I can remember. Sorry this was so long, but hopefully this was helpful to someone out there trying to decide what hair coloring product to get.

Detailed Review : Pretty and Pigmented Dye!
This is an awesome short-term hair dye! I did this for the holiday season and got SO many compliments :) The only thing I was a bit disappointed by at first was that it’s not very red—it leaned more purple/pink. BUT I ended up loving it because the color is super unique and very pigmented. I started with blonde highlights, so the dye showed up really well. When it washed out, it did leave the blonde slightly orange/pink (see picture 6). For application, I only used half the bottle to fully saturate my hair. Although the instructions say 15 minutes, I left it on for about 45 minutes before washing and styling (picture 1). As shown in the photos, it washed out after about 5 washes, which for me was around 2 weeks. A few things that might make it stay longer: • Washing less frequently • Using cold water (I used hot) • NOT Using clarifying shampoo every wash/at all I just re-dyed it using the remaining half of the bottle and got the same level of pigment. This time I’m trying to make it last longer, and I may come back to update!

Recommend it!
This conditioner actually works. My hair color lasts way longer after using it, and my hair looks brighter and healthier. It feels lightweight, rinses out easily, and doesn’t make my hair greasy or flat. I’ll definitely buy it again.

Colorful and Fun!
This hair color is actually pretty nice if you want to play around with color without fully committing. It’s more of a color-depositing conditioner, so it doesn’t feel harsh on your hair at all. My hair felt soft after using it, not dried out, which is a big plus. The color shows up well and gives a nice boost or refresh to your shade, and it fades gradually instead of leaving weird patches. I also like that it smells good and is easy to use — just apply it like conditioner and let it sit. Overall, it’s a good option if you want some color without damaging your hair. Easy, low-stress, and leaves your hair feeling healthy. The only negative is the hair dye can get everywhere and stain if you are careful. Also, it doesn't reqally cover grays, which I guess is normal for this sort of color depositing conditioner.

Terrible Color Take!
I’m actually surprised that this product has a 5 star review! I gave it 1 star as it did nothing for my hair but smell nice! The red color did not take at all! It just rinsed out of my hair like regular conditioner. I will NOT buy again!

Got greys or white roots? Just pass on this one..
Took a gamble and didn’t win. I saw many reviews from people that used the vibrant colors but nothing on the everyday browns. So that’s why I’m here! I’ve recently been trying out the color depositing shampoos and conditioners bc I’m tired of coloring my hair right now. This came out of the tube a purpley color and went on with ease. It’s states you should have clean towel dried hair. I went with clean bone dried hair bc I thought maybe it will work better that way and the color didn’t stick unfortunately. It did make my hair nice and soft though! I will say I’m trying to cover my bright white roots which right now are more of a brassy brown bc of the last product I attempted that has not washed out yet. I was hoping since it wasn’t white and gray that it would darken it, but it really didn’t touch anything. I could kinda tell it wasn’t going to work bc it didn’t take much to wipe it off my hands. After I towel dried my hair I did what I usually do with conditioners and put some on my roots to tame the new baby hairs I have growing and honestly just putting it on and leaving it looked fine. So for gray and white hair cover up this is a pass. But it was worth the try!

Love the color
I like the color. Easy to apply. I put it on my dry clean hair to make it lasts a bit longer.

It’s kinda more pricy but I do feel like the color depositing is better than shopper bought ones. I used it in dry hair. The seller is also very nice, giving update on delivery delays and such. Recommend !
