I've tried them all. The hardest holds, to the sleekest look, to the best scents. My favorite all-around has been American Crew, except for the price. Then I tried Cremo High Hold, High Shine. I now have a new standard. The scent is 4/5, hold 5/5, shine is 4/5, sleek look is 5/5, endurance is 4/5, and consistency is 5/5. The scent is light but masculine and pleasing. It has a pretty good shine to it, but I prefer more so I add something else beforehand. It has a perfect consistency and can easily be reshaped and reformed with water if need be (after reshaping, the hold will not be as good). The hold is perfect, I don't know why some complain about hold the way they do: pomades are deisgned for a particular kind of hold, even light ones. High hold means your hair stays that way throughout the day, and that's what you want to keep your look! Best part is it washes out super easy and with no residue. The High Hold, High Shine pomade gives a classic man look, hits the marks, and for $12, is the best value.

My favorite pomade, I've used it for years and now amazon is the only place I can find it. It's cheaper than most retail places I would buy it. It works well for short to medium length hair and can hold all day.

I have thick curly/ wavy hair that gets frizzy in humid weather, duh. With a great barber cut, fresh out of the shower with damp hair, I apply a small amount (emulsify in your hand first) work into my hair from back to front, then front to back. Then I style my hair with my hands and I’m ready to go! The hold is great, shine is nice, not overly shiner like the pic of the goofball in the product description area. It wears in well throughout the day, and smells clean, just kinda lingers, every now and then I get a pleasant light hint of the scent, not over powering. I love the scent, smells like I just stepped outta the shower!! This product rinses out easily and easy to reshape when needed. Love it!!

This is a fine choice for pomade that doesn't leave noticeable residue in your hair at the end of the day. Its not too sticky, not too shiny, and not too smelly. Does its job.

I have a kiddo that likes pony tails. She has frizzy hair and it getsthe messy look quickly through the day. This is the best product I’ve found for making the pony tail look amazing!! Zero white residue or flakes. Completely clear!
