I've been struggling to lose weight the past year and a half, when it used to be really easy for me as long as I counted calories. I finally did some research on probiotics and read that L. Gasseri can be associated with weight loss, so I swapped this for my generic L. Baccilus that I'd been taking for years.Now, I have also been going to the gym more, but not that much, and I still am seeing the scale go down more quickly since I started taking these a few weeks ago. Amazingly, I've even been eating "forbidden" foods that I'd relegated to occasional treats like white bread and frozen meals, but still seeing the scale consistently go down. I don't know how it works, whether it decreases your appetite so you're not eating that much or actually alters your metabolism somehow, but this has been a very encouraging development for me.

This product appears to be a great value. The tiny bottle contains 1/3 year's worth of product. So far I have had no ill effects, and I remain healthy as I use it daily.

I bought these for my dogs in the hopes that it would help him not produce so much gas. That didn't work. But it's probably good for digestion.

I do not have a lab or a microscope to check if the bacilius is alive but when I put them in milk I do not see it changing at all which makes me think the bacilius is dead or something. It is lactobacil which means it will live in milk like yogurt. And it does not. Or at least I have no evidence. I make my own yogurt so I know how to do it. I put controll with yogurt and the yogurt is tick in the morning while the jars I put a pill in are liquid for another two days. they start culturing when I open them which means they catch bacteria from the air. not the pill.

The ease of the tablets make this my favorite. It has helped just as well as the higher cost brand making it a great value. I mainly use this for overall well being and an unexpected benefit is headache relief! I just wish the strain number was listed to know which L.plantarum this is.

This product works extremely well when allowing the small tablets to dissolve in the mouth rather than ingesting them with water. There is no smell, and little taste and no stomach upset. The results after a few days taking these at bed time has resulted in the freshest mouth I've had in years. No more white saliva coating on my tongue anymore in the morning and my tongue visually looks clean and healthy. Also no more sores inside the sides of the mouth and especially in the back pockets where the upper and lower wisdom teeth meet.

These easily dissolve and easy to swallow. Doesn't taste so bad at all. Not sure about how it's helping my energy, but my bowel movements have been regular.

While this worked well in making yogurt and was helping my gut in the beginning, I started to have a reaction and figured out it must be contaminated by gluten. After contacting the seller, who is very responsive to questions, they confirmed it is made with corn. I cannot get a refund now but if you have digestive issues then I would stay away from products made with magnesium sterate as they most likely are derived from corn gluten. Again, it was working in the beginning until my gut started fighting me back and that was a very sad day for me as I had bought three different products from this company. I can confirm they are good for making yogurt but only if you aren't Celiac and/or gluten intolerant like me and if you aren't sure, please get a food sensitivity test done just to be sure, prior to buying/using.
