Requires an app, that requires 2.4G WiFi, location services, local network access. You are giving this device access to everything you have connected. If there is a no WiFi option, it’s a complete mystery. But the small size is nice

SMALL -GREAT FOR PEACE OF MIND
What i love about this Mini Camera is that it's really small and can be hidden in places no one would expect. I can set it up just about anywhere. The setup is easily, the HD video is clear and the battery life is long. It also includes a 64GB SD card that will store the recordings. The great thing is that it can run in WiFi or offline mode

Advertised as simple and convenient. Not so! To many hoops to go thru and forces you to use the Cloud. Seems more like a device for China to eavesdrop on you! Stay clear of this piece of crap!

Works great!
I recently purchased the WKX W-Mini Security Camera and I’m very impressed. This tiny powerhouse delivers crisp HD video, even in low light, thanks to its reliable night vision. The motion detection works flawlessly — I get timely alerts on my phone whenever something moves. I love that it includes a 64 GB SD card for local storage, giving me both cloud and physical backup options. The battery life is surprisingly solid, and the small design makes it easy to place just about anywhere. Setup was intuitive, and the Wi-Fi connection remains steady. For the price, this mini camera offers outstanding value and peace of mind.

It's Ok
So, for the price and size it works ok. The biggest problem I had with it was setting it up. The directions are not great and it took me a little while to get it to connect. Once it finally connected, the picture was decent for the price

WARNING: Videos are stored in proprietary format, the camera itself is the only way to view them!
WARNING: The videos for the micro camera are accessible through the app. The format of the videos on the SD card are PROPRIETARY and CANNOT be viewed by removing it from the device. they are NOT in "MOV" format as described, nor any other format any media player can recognize. The camera itself functions as advertised but since it is the one and only device I own that can read it's own video format, if it were to be damaged then the videos would be inaccessible. Likewise if the app were to stop working (by going unmaintained, for example) again your videos would be lost and unusable.

Not good
Not a very good device. The battery life is short, the phone app isn't easy to use, and I think there must be better options on the market.

Do not buy, junk that doesn't work.
If there was a rating below 1 star, I would chose that. Cameras DO NOT work as advertised. There is no "offline" recording and will only record with 2.4 ghz internet speed, according to the instructions. I purchased 4 and have nothing to work with. ABSOLUTE JUNK! The old cliche' is true, you get what you pay for. Don't waste your time or money. The QR code downloads numerous Chinese apps to your phone. I guess would be ok if you can read Chinese. It took me a half of a day to get that crap of my phone. Final thought, buying this is a waste of money and more trouble than it is worth. Useless!
