It doesn't take much, too much water may spill out when you tilt the cup Dump out the water when it becomes dirty. 2: Insert pet paw and rotate the cleaning cup. The back paws are easier to do when the pet is standing 3: Remove pet paw and dab the paw dry with a clean towel. 4: Repeat three more times and your pet is ready to come in. *Note - when reassembling please make sure that the silicone sleeve is right side up to best fit in the cup. Small size works best for small to medium breeds. Medium size works best for medium to medium large breeds.
