Amazon got this to me from the States. Don't know how they do it but the price was good. Brilliant tool and will pass this one down to my grandchildren....

I removed staples from 1 fence post... 1 post and these pictures are the state of the pliers after 1 fence post. The metal used is a very soft mild steel, not suitable for it's purpose at all. I only bought them for home project of fencing the croft. So I didn't feel the need to buy premium product but my goodness I didn't think they would be this bad. The force you need to apply either says great things about the 2mm wire or more likely bad things to the pliers that have just disintegrated. I don't even know if I would use them as a 1 and done situation, if you had more then a dozen posts to remove/install. Verry disappointed

Pliers not accurately made/assembled so that shaped part do not have the same centre of rotation. This results in some binding/stiffness, which has needed a lot of opening/closing to wear down.

Ive only used it for a few hours and already the hammer end has burred, metal seems soft

This is the best tool I have to surprise East Coast rednecks cause they have no idea what it is and I lived in Idaho so I do you know. It actually does come in useful even without Barbwire fences.

Really nice quality, great tool. I have been doing a lot of fencing on my property, this tool saves so much time, heavy enough to hammer in a fence staple but light enough not to be awkward pulling that same staple.

Vice Grip tool brand is a top brand. The fencing pliers are excellant at stretching and twisting wire. They are as good as you can get. They are in my everyday tool bag.
