I have very fine, thin hair that is long. I have stubborn curls and lots of unruly white and silver hair as well. I was super nervous about trying a real keratin smoothing treatment at home, but did the Pravana system many times before finding an organic alternative on Amazon that I have been using, but results weren't lasting. So I tried this. I left it on for 30min to be cautious, and glad I did. This straightened it nicely so curls were very loose , gentle waves. I did get a little on my scalp in a couple of places but it was only mildly irritating. It doesn't smell like chemical fumes or nasty either. On applying it smells sweet and acidic. After rinsing with only water , you smell a noticeable keratin smell, but again, not funky or powerful. The smell does go away completely when blow dried and my hair was soft, shiney and straight in a couple of minutes (dyson dryer). If you want lasting straightness you then have to flat iron well and thoroughly- take your time, work in small sections. Bam! Very smooth, straight hair! Feels great and looks great rolling right out of bed! This is so much easier to do, and love the results. Super straight after quick blow dry and quick touch up with flat irons to perfect. I don't like spending much time on my hair so this works out perfectly for me! I waited 2 days for first wash. The smell came again when wet, but less noticeable. Third wash, slight smell. I hope it will not smell for fourth wash, but even if it continues to linger, I'm fine with it because it's nothing compared to others and it's completely gone when completely dry. Follow the directions and you'll have success. This is my go to from now on since I don't trust many products with my fine hair. Also- I was worried this might discolor my silver and white hair, but no problem! This is a great product to try. I did this by myself with an extra mirror rigged up so I could see the back. Good luck ladies! UPDATE: No keratin smell after fourth wash. Definitely lasted me 3 months. This bottle has been enough for 3 full- length treatments. If you do only roots it will enough for several treatments. Just remember to save and reuse the red plug for the bottle, then replace the cap. Very happy- still 5 stars!

I have very curly hair that is prone to extreme frizziness, without alot of hair products. I loved my hair after going through a complex process of blow drying, then straightening. Even then I still had waves at the root area. I waited a few days before shampooing and conditioning, then right back to the same difficult curls I started with. Very disappointed in this product and it's a waste of time.

So far I am really pleased with this product. I applied it yesterday (opened all the doors in my apartment for good ventilation) I didn’t apply it to the root like instructions say but for me personally because if I do keratin removes all the body from my hair so I didn’t want that. Came out very smooth silky shiny and doesn’t have too much of that keratin residue you sometimes get when the hair is dry granted I made sure to rinse a long time. It doesn’t say you have to wait 72hrs after treatment before using clips or hair ties or washing like traditional keratin treatments however I am waiting the 72 hours to see if my results r good and I’m a hairdresser and it’s what I’m used to. I applied and left on for 35 min because my hair is fine and has blonde. Overall I love how easy this is I love that it has little to no smell, it does produce fumes and irritate the skin some if gets on u if u have long hair but this is expected for this sort of treatment. I’m entirely pleased and will be recommending to my friends as we all live in South Florida humidity all year lol!!!

This made my hair feel soft. It helped with some of the frizzineess. Not as good as a salon keratin treatment but still a good product

It did take the frizzy curl out, kind of. But left dry, stripped hair of the color I had put on and seriously lightened it. I colored it and it doesn’t keep for very long.Maybe I didn’t apply just right. My hair felt like straw for a good 3 weeks. With that said, I may see if I feel the difference when it grows back out and try it again. If I have the same results, I would not continue. It definitely didn’t give the sheen that I thought removing any frizz would give. You still have to very much style your hair.

This is the best keratin treatment at home. Not only does it eliminate frizz, the results last a long time and is so easy to use. No harsh chemicals that burn your eyes and throat! The only downside is the first 4-5 washes afterwards, when your hair is wet, it will have a slight order, but nothing serious. When you dry your hair, the smell goes away. I already bought two more treatments, so I have them on hand. I'm saving hundred of dollars by doing this at home. Its so easy to use! It would be nice if they had larger bottles. One bottle is good for short hair, but if you have long or thicker hair, you will most likely need two bottles, but it's still cheaper than going to the salon. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, you won't be sorry with this purchase.
