This catio suits our needs purrfectly. My husband put it together alone. It has held up in a few wind storms, but I do have it up against my house. My cats took some time to get used to it but they love it. They just sit on the perches and hang out.

This catio is perfect for anyone who wants to keep their cats home but give them some freedom! Wasn't too terrible to build, however the quality is ok for the price point. There is no bottom and all of the doors to connect to the house are also on the bottom. I was pretty disappointed by that part. I was hoping to put it against a normal height window. Still fun, just took a little more planning.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!This looks awesome in the advertised photos. HOWEVER, I can’t begin to fully explain how cheaply made this item is. We are having to spend so much money to “ fix” the issues, it literally would have been better to have built our own.The wood is very fragile & easily splits & breaks. There’s gaps all over from the roof to the door, and they can’t be seen until fully assembled .It’s thin wood & staples. We are replacing all the platforms and hide boxes, but first we have to rework the frame to even accommodate better & sturdier wood etc.. to make the platforms SAFE for our cats.When I purchased this, there wasn’t enough reviews to be properly informed. There is now. The door is not sturdy at all. It needs reinforcing. I intend to use this outside, so I need to make sure my pets can’t get hurt or escape as well as no other animal can get it. It will take time & money to accomplish this, way beyond what this catio offers once assembled.If it’s for a garage or an already enclosed area, you will still need to take care of the platforms & hides to ensure your pets don’t get injured.BUYER BEWARE!

Great to have for my cat so she can get some fresh air and not be inside all the time! Looks great! When I opened the box I noticed a pine smell, so it’s pine wood. But the pieces are thin and laminate. So when putting together things crack (make sure to do pilot holes where they do not) and the whole thing shakes when she jumps around now that she’s not a kitten anymore. So overall NOT the most sturdy, and safety is questionable. I was annoyed to discover the wood was laminate and thin given the price so it could definitely be cheaper and I’m sure you could build one on your own cheaper for a more durable enclosure. Very easy to assemble though, took me one weekend.

The product is definitely not designed for the outside. The wood is way too flimsy and the wood is too thin. Parts of the wood comes cracked and splintered already. Not worth over $200. Also doesn’t come with enough screws I had to use my own even though I didn’t add extra screws for safety till the end. I added carpet to all the shelves. Definitely made it more comfortable.I feel like the shelves are even too flimsy. As I watch my boy cat jump up the wood looks like it has too much flex. My only concern is the wood might not hold or the wood might start cracking near the screw points. If you can find another product instead of this then I would go with it. The only reason I’m not returning it is because it hasn’t failed and I just finished.

Super easy to put together, Great sizing for an indoor cat. Plenty of space. Good quality and looks super cute. My cat loves it! He's able to run around while I'm at work and I don't have to worry about him chewing cords or messing up the house lol

Our inside cats can now be outside. It took approximately 8 hrs to put together. We made a floor and set it on bricks so the bottom isn’t exposed to the grass and dirt. The wood is pretty flimsy but it seems sturdy enough for our cats to climb around safely in it. It’s kinda small but would be great for 2 cats, maybe 3. We have 4 cats so we purchased two houses and have them connected so there’s plenty of space for them. It comes with a plastic tarp to put over the top so water doesn’t fall through the roof. Overall, it’s a good product. Would give 5 stars if the wood was more sturdy
