Easy install / great kit!
Factory fit and finish, packaged very well, clear instructions, and the truck runs great! Nice having peace of mind not worrying if the CP4 will decide ton ruin everything. Took about 6.5 hours to install.

S&S DCR pump conversion for the win!
Like all, not some, but all the comments say, this kit fit perfect and the instructions are written extremely well. The extended warranty on my truck expired and having known of the CP4 issue, it was only a few days before i ordered the S&S kit. I had already done my research so i knew what i was in for, cost and time wise. To me, a 2000 dollar investment (before the price went up) was cheap insurance against the disaster that might happen hanging over my head. The job took me about 16 hours but that included replacing a plastic coolant pipe that broke when i tried to remove it which I didnt really need to do anyways. It was old and brittle.... I also replaced all my idler pulleys while in there and changed the belt. Part of those 16 hours spent included dipping and cleaning the intake manifold of the 100k miles worth of soot. Kit went together like a glove and when finished it fired right up. Thats been a few months ago now and have not had one issue or problem. Being that new trucks are 70-100k, I plan on keeping my truck a long time so this was without doubt a worthwhile investment. Thank you S&S for putting this kit ont he market!!

Worthy investment if you are keeping your PSD.
I installed this on my 2013 Ford F250 with the supervision of a mechanically inclined friend. This is a great investment in my opinion. New trucks are just too expensive, this will ensure longevity of your diesel. It took all day to install, topside creeper is a must, as well as a electric ratchet. You will need a 27mm fan clutch removal tool and crows foot sockets. Instructions are very detailed and well illustrated. Install looks OEM, truck performs as expected with a slight bump in mpg.

Works amazing. Not for the timid to install.
Not quite easy to install yourself. The printed instructions are useless but if you download the videos, you can follow along and get it done. Make sure to get a fan clutch tool.

Great Upgrade
Although it was a little more than just a couple of hours to install this it did work a lot better than my factory pump. With the performance upgrades that I have it is nice to know I don't have to worry about a failing pump now.

Not really a do-it-yourselfer job
I've been a diesel mechanic for 30 years. While this kit was not that difficult to install, I have more tools than the normal DIY does and lots more experiance. This is the first one I've done and it took me 10 hours, I also used Ford IDS to reset the fuel table at the end of the job, not sure if you really need to but in the Ford service manual it specifies you do it after you've changed pumps. Basically what I'm saying is this kit is totally worth it, but unless you are REALLY good with your hands and you have a good tool set, have a shop do it.
