Love it!
I love this cleanser! It’s perfect for someone looking to clean their skin without drying out at the same time. It removes makeup and moisturizes. Best used with a small amount of water, do not wet your face first. Gently massage the oil into your skin and it will remove all makeup.

Gentle but Powerful cleanser
Overall I like this foaming cleanser. It provides an effective cleanse without stripping or drying my skin, which is something I often struggle to find. I appreciate the fact that it's pH-balanced, cruelty-free, and certified organic. But the fact that there is no synthetic fragrance is a bonus. It does have a light, citrus-like aroma that disappears quickly. Like a lot of reviewers mention, the product is very thin as compared to other cleansers, so it should be applied without any water initially but then you can add water as you work it into a lather. It can be applied with bare hands or using a face cloth. Most days I use alone, but if I'm washing off makeup I'll use as the second step in a double-cleanse routine. I think my biggest gripe is the cost. For 4 ounces of product, you'll go through this fairly quickly and it's much more than I want to pay for a daily cleanser. I do wish it was a little thicker because even with the pump dispenser, it's easy to dispense too much which wastes the product. I know the amber glass bottle makes it "fancy" and protects the product from damage via light, but this is a concern if you like to keep your face cleanser in the shower or tub. I've suffered way too many bruised toes from heavy bottles dropping on my foot. Even if stored on the counter, you need to be extra careful not to handle with wet hands to avoid dropping and breaking.

Gentle Daily Exfoliation That Doesn’t Strip My Skin
I’ve been using this cleanser as part of my regular routine, and it’s one of those products that quietly earns a spot without causing drama. It’s a gel cleanser that lathers lightly once you add water. Not a thick foam, just enough to feel like it’s actually cleaning. What stood out right away is how balanced it feels. Even with AHA and BHA in the formula, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or squeaky. My skin feels clean, smooth, and refreshed after rinsing, not dried out. I’ve noticed my texture looks more refined over time, especially around my nose and cheeks where buildup usually shows up first. The consistency is a clear gel and a little goes a long way. It spreads easily and rinses off clean without leaving residue. The scent is very subtle and fresh. Not overpowering and definitely not “perfume-y,” which I appreciate. It feels more like a naturally clean smell than added fragrance. I also like that you can adjust how you use it. On regular days, I just massage and rinse. If my skin feels congested, I’ll let it sit for about 30–60 seconds before rinsing, and that seems to give a slightly deeper exfoliation without irritation. I wouldn’t recommend this for ultra-sensitive skin, but for normal, combination, or skin dealing with uneven texture, it’s a really solid option. I have combination skin and it’s great for removing those dead skin cells and all that to really even out and smooth my complexion without over drying and while reducing oils in my t-zone. It feels thoughtfully formulated and gentle enough to use consistently, which matters more to me than something harsh that promises instant results. Overall, this is a high-quality cleanser that does what it says without overdoing it. My skin looks smoother, feels balanced, and stays comfortable after washing.

We're Talking About Your Face for Goodness Sake
I have never considered myself a metrosexual. If you will recall the term was coined in 1994 to characterize a usually urban heterosexual male given to enhancing his personal appearance by fastidious grooming, beauty treatments, and fashionable clothes. Nope, that's not me. Oh, there was that 10 years I worked Manhattan and occasionally sprung for your standard $400.00 tie or $1.200 shoes, but aside from that. No, I'm much too lazy to work for the sobriquet. That's why I surprised myself by ordering this organic facial cleaner from One Love. Heck, to write this review I had to learn a whole new language! AHA + BHA? Gel nettoyant? Clarifies? I'm used to Indian bar soap. Anyway, AHA and BHA are “alpha hydroxy acids and beta hydroxy acids to exfoliate the skin, remove impurities, and improve texture and tone”. Gel nettoyant is a gel cleanser. Clarifies is still a bit nebulous when it comes to my face but it sounds good so I want it too. I prepared myself for a shower and took my bottle (Which is glass I believe. Not good for a tile shower. I never lost sight of the bottle.) into the enclosure with me, set it on the shelf and commenced to wash up. After I had completed my normal ablutions, I was ready to try my new product. The first thing I did was squirt a bit in the palm of my hand so I could feel, see and smell it. It was a tad more liquidy than I was prepared for initially. Not a problem; simply adjusted the methodology. It was a clear gel, light pinkish amber in color. The scent was a mystery to me. It was very pleasant, fresh and clean smelling but I couldn't put my finger (or nose) on exactly what I was smelling. It wasn't until I was finished showering that I reread the Amazon Product Page and learned that it was Salt. Yup, it sure was! The folks at One Love were true to their word so far. I was pleased. That's when I probably broke some ancient covenant by reaching for my rotating exfoliating device. It has this silicon brush disk at the head that I use to remove life dirt and other impurities from my face. Squirted a small amount onto the disk and hit the On button. I scrubbed for about 3 minutes to make sure I got everywhere, while Botanical A continued to lather up for me. Not too much though; it was not like a dish soap. Simply a gentle cleanser. Once finished, I dried off, patted my face dry and looked in the mirror. My face looked more fresh and healthy than usual. And I felt good because I had done something nice for my self. Overall, I would give the experience an A-. Botanical A is Certified organic by EcoCert, promised to be Cruelty Free and dermatologist tested. It looks like this company has their priorities closely aligned with mine. As I sit here a little after 11:30PM, I can still feel the result of my morning facial regime. My face has a kind of softness and elasticity to it that I attribute to NOT using an Indian bar soap on it. Is it an expensive product? Kind of. The price might be a barrier of entry to some. Believe me, I can relate these days. But we're talking about your face for goodness sake. If you can try it without hurting yourself, please do. The reward will be worth it. I give this “product” 5 Stars. And if you need me, I'll be checking out one of the company's other offerings, Skin Dew, a facial moisturizer.
