Nice, but it was too low so I changed the legs to 7 inch

Easy to put together it’s small but it’s very good for storage

I’m a bit worried that the gold tone finish will tarnish over time. But, I do love it.

Low quality

The bench looks great and is exactly as advertised. However, if you want to add the legs to the bottom of it, a problem arises - no screw holes! They were nice enough to provide all the screws, as well as a tiny screwdriver, but there are no screw holes on the bottom of the bench to actually, you know, screw the legs into. I ended up using a drill to just drill the screws straight into the bottom of the ottoman, but it would have been nice to not have to do that.

I am not a fan of this. The quality is subpar and the legs don't even come close to matching the "metal" gold band.Right away I noticed that the gold metal band was just a metallic fabric.Top and center of the unit is some very visual bad stitching. If this was the only issue I would probably take a lighter and burn off the loose strings.You will need a drill to attach the legs because there are no pre-drilled holes. This means that it will likely split the wood base.And lastly the corners have visible creases from the padding used during shipping.

Like some of the previous reviews have already stated, this ottoman is very poorly constructed with below-mediocre craftsmanship. It is also built with very cheap materials causing it to lack in an adequate degree of durability and sturdiness which would be expected for this type of furniture piece.There are no pre-drilled holes to install the four legs, so it took me significant amount of time just so I could precisely measure and gauge the optimal angle to insert the wood screws. This is because if the screws are angled too far outward, they will pierce and tear the gray outer lining. However, if the screws are inserted directly perpendicular to the bottom surface (straight down), they will go right through the inner baseboard inside the ottoman, and since the screws are sharp, the can potentially damage contents stored inside- especially if you’re like me and use the storage space for blankets and other line/fabric items.If you are looking for lesser expensive ottoman of this general design, you’re best bet is to start searching in $90-$100 range. I have seen a few in price range with significantly better quality.
