Urban Fountain Pen | Muted Black with Chrome Trim | Medium Nib with Blue Ink | Gift Box

Have missed not having a fountain pen after I dropped my really nice Waterman Expert fountain pen a few years ago. Decided I could not afford over £100 so went for this Parker Urban fountain pen at under £25 and what a bargain. The pen has a high quality feel and writes so smoothly that I would recommend to anyone as an everyday writer that looks like it should cost a lot more than it does.

Smooth, and holds better than previous version. However, would be even better if it is metal mid-section. Sometimes the ink skip because of rough paper, but other times it’s because it runs out of ink; can’t really see the ink level when uses really dark black. However, it writes smoothly again once the ink is refilled.

This arrived very promptly & so far, I love it. I have pink Parker cartridges and the pen itself is a really lovely rich raspberry colour. It's lovely to use and the ink flow has been great so far. It's a beautiful thing and great value for a well balanced, solid feeling pen. It has a fine nib, which is exactly what I was after.

Nice solid quality Fountain Pen from Parker. Nice smooth nib. Built to last.

I adore the lovely black lacquer and gold, it really gives a luxurious feeling, but the pen is not smooth and the ink flow is not good enough

Bought as a gift for the wife, she likes fountain pens, so do I but every time I go to mine the ink has been used, she loves the colour of the pen don't know if she has used it yet but mine has been hidden😆

This pen has a very fine nib but even with a full new cartridge and the nib dipped in ink I can't get ink to flow through it to writen evenly. I get a little bit of ink then gaps and the writing looks awful - patchy and uneven. I've been a fountain pen user all my life but this pen does not work for me - the nib dags on the paper - I find it horrible to use.

Como ya se ha dicho mucho sobre la practicidad de la pluma, creo conveniente comentar sobre la belleza de estas plumas. Esas líneas casi rectas con colores llamativos y muy particulares. Viene en un estuche de cartón, nada ostentoso y quizá muy por debajo de la categoría de estas plumas. En este caso, la magenta brillante, preciosa como ninguna. La calidad-precio está bien, supongo que depende del uso que se le va a dar y lógicamente, de los materiales, en este caso, aceptables. Llama siempre la atención, fue un regalo que no dejó indiferente a nadie.

Well made for an affordable, everyday use fountain pen. I was a regular user of fountain pens for several years and then got out of the habit. Was looking for a pen for a gift for someone else, and thought this looked like a good way to get back into it. I write a lot in my work, and sometimes in my personal life, and like a nice pen to write with. This performs well, though it took me a little time to reacclimate, and I like it a lot. The semi-gloss black feels good and looks nice. The pen is easy to hold and write with (once you get the angle right). It flows well, though sometimes I have a hard time getting it started. This seems to have more to do with me as a writer and getting used to a fountain pen again, since it has gotten better over time, and it also better when using higher quality, heavier paper.

This is my current daily fountain pen and I am glad I went with this new generation Parker Urban. Feels perfect to hold while writing as in perfect grip, weight and balance. Have tried writing on almost all types of paper and it manages to write without bleeding even on tough cheap printer paper which I have not seen possible on cheaper fountain pens. The medium nib has smooth ink flow and yet not to much to cause bleeding on paper so it looks like a fine on paper and yet smooth to write at the same time. It is a pen you can rely on to work every time you want to write even after having not used for a few days. Highly recommend the Parker Urban for its smooth writing experience and beautiful design.

Elegante schreiber, sowohl der Kuli als die der Füller schrieben weich und gut mit guter, konstanter Strichstärke auch bei schneller Handschrift. Füller ist schon zweimal hinuntergefallen und hat keinen Schaden genommen. Das matte Gold sieht edel und die gesamte Optik wertvoll aus, die Stifte sind Hingucker bereiten viel Freude. Es war das beste Weihnachtsgeschenk für meinen Lebensgefährten.
