Propper Men’s Uniform Oxford Shoes – Comfortable Slip-Resistant Leather Dress Shoe

Bought these to replace my military Staybrites. The stitching appears identical to my previous pair and these were half the price. Great quality and very comfortable. Looks great with my dress blues.

Shoes arrived clean, neat, and properly labeled. No visible scuffs or damage indicators. Would highly recommend Propper products, as they’ve always been of high quality and always meet dress and appearance standards. The shoes are priced competitively with the Exchange, are lightweight, and fit comfortably.

I’ve been using Bates for the last 15 years and for some reason, they’ve become harder to find and the quality has diminished throughout the years. These are great looking shoes! And can’t beat the price. They def run small so size up 1/2 a size. I wear them daily for work so we’ll see how long they last, but I’m very pleased at the moment.

They work well and look great. The shine is amazing and the laces are good. The bottom isn’t slippery like standard issued dress shoes. My only gripe is the back rubs about your Achilles so much it becomes unbearable if you’re using the thin authorized dress socks. I had to get some construction foam and electrical tape to put some cushion so it didn’t destroy my feet. Other than that it’s one of the better aftermarket ASU shoes for a good price too. Size was true too.

I bought this shoe for my job as a bus driver. It's is very shiny and looks good. I immediately was impressed by how it fit comfortably. I can walk around and feel comforted with a lot of soft underfoot feeling. I will not expect a long life under rugged conditions but for the job I am doing bus driving, this is a great choice. I should add.... all my shoes are size 12 Wide..... So I bought a 12 Wide in this shoe.... What I found was that the labeled shoe size is NOT true to the size chart, so beware when choosing your shoe... so I returned and exchangedthe size 12 Wide and for a size 13 wide and the shoe fits very comfortably. I cannot express just how comfortable this shoe is.... I am very pleased with it. For the price and have this much comfort is unbelievable.... I won't be wearing this shoe under any rugged daily use.... so I cannot say for sure how long this shoe will last..... I have shoes that have lasted me 16 years......... so comparing this shoe to those would be unfair. I just needed something that looked good and smart and comfortable and attractive too..... My 5 star rating might be generous. I rated it 5 stars because for the price and to have this much comfort, I'll give it 5 stars. I am that pleased with this shoe..... If I was buying a pattern leather shoe for formal wear, I 'd have bought something different and probably much more expensive.... but this shoe does the job for me... thus my 5 star rating

These are good looking shoes. You need to order at least a 1/2 size larger. They fit very tight and do not stretch over time for mode comfort.

Finally a shoe that I can wear that doesn't hurt my feet. And they have them in wide!! Thank God. Very nice and affordable. Only thing is I wear a 14 wide. They run a tad bit small, so I sent the 14 back and got the 15 wide and they were perfect. I'd recommend going a size up. -- Update, the only issue I had with this shoe is the bad fishy smell on the inside of the shoe. Other than that its a nice shoe. Just trying to get rid of the smell my God!

Had to return because of size, bought one size bigger and it fits better. Well made and the sole is solid.
