Replacement Voice Remote Control for TV Stick/Insignia Toshiba Smart TVs(1st/2nd/3rdGen)

Have a Roku TV, and the remote's power button was unresponsive, so I went ahead and bought this. I only needed one, but I guess they sell 2 packs because selling one just doesn't make them enough money. From ROKU's official website, they sell a replacement remote for $10. This knockoff, you get 2 (although you only need one really) for less. Anyways, the REAL reason I even searched for this particular remote is that the OFFICIAL Roku remote from their website does NOT have the youtube button. I wanted the ability to get into youtube with the press of one button, skipping the main menu. This remote allows you to do that. Anyways, when I got the product, I expected I'd have to do some pairing, but supririnsgly, none was needed. But you DO need 2 AAA batteries. So if you don't have them on hand, you're gonna have to order some AAA batteries. I always have AAA and AA batteries stocked, so it was a none issue. Anyways, buttons are responsive, and everything is just great. GREAT product, great value.

The remote connected easily. No setup was required for me AND the voice control actually works unlike some replacements I’ve gotten. Great for the price. Lightweight. Works quickly.

No issues at all hooking these up to my TCL Roku TVs. Price was awesome and they work just as good as the remotes that came with the televisions. Would purchase again

What a deal these were - a pack of 2 for under $10.00. I put one next to the remote that came with the tv & I could not tell one iota of difference. Everything works perfectly. Drop in your batteries and the remote works ... EASY! the volume control works great, the buttons function as they should. I do not use the voice control option so I cannot tell you about that feature, but otherwise these are great.

I tried a different "brand" with the same specs. The other one worked poorly, with difficulty controlling the tv at most angles. I only mentioned the other one because it might be similar to a replacement you purchased. This one, however, functions like the original. It works without having to point it directly at the receiving sensor on the tv. It works like the OEM remote controller. I even like that it's just about a quarter of an inch thicker at the sides, and maybe an eighth of an inch thicker along the middle. It fits very well in the hand. Also, the back plastic cover has a matte finish, and is less slick than the OEM, but certainly not a rough texture.

Remote is as expected and per other reviews, the buttons are a 'bit off'. Some work on 1st push; others have to be pushed a couple/few times to get action. All in all the remote works, price is good; shipped quickly.
