This is the perfect speaker for outdoor trips, the beach, picnics, by the pool, etc. I took it to the beach and it lasted all day on one charge. The sound quality is amazing. It gets loud enough for a big area. The clip is so convenient. I clipped it on my beach chair to keep it up off the sand. It charges quickly and looks great too. It's a great size for easily throwing in your car or bag. Highly recommend!

These things are awesome.Great battery life. Sturdy. Good price. Solid, bass-y sound that really can be surprisingly loud, more than I would have expected. Easy to link up, easy to use, it clips onto a shower curtain ring, a tree branch, a cabinet handle, anywhere.The only thing it isn't as great at is the sound quality of speech-only. It seems to struggle a little bit with higher pitches, while being strong on low and medium tones. This means sometimes for something like an audio book or podcast, you have to turn it up louder than you'd expect to get good voice clarity. I downloaded the app for adjusting the sound balance, and while it helps to switch it to "speech mode" it doesn't make a huge impact.I have only one other nitpick and I cannot say for sure if it is the fault of this speaker, or my phone. But when I have this linked to my phone, for some reason it will NOT play phone calls. So if you were hoping to answer a call and hear someone talking through the speaker, it won't. Or at least, not with my phone. Every other bluetooth speaker I have ever had does this.Don't let that deter you though. This is a great speaker and I bought a second one so that I could leave one at home and one in the car for all the times I found myself somewhere that I wanted a speaker.

I have previously owned the Bose Soundllink Mini II. I have replaced the battery in it and used it until it simply ceased functioning. I debated whether to seek out a new battery or to just replace the unilt all together.After having seen this speaker at a local store, I never realized just how much technology has advanced, as far as the sound coming out of such a small speaker. I decided to investigate this particular speaker and found quite a few article and comments on just how nice of a speaker it truly is. At that point, I decided to go ahead and buy one.It arrived in a timely manner and I have to say, it was easy to set up and pair up to my iPhone. Now, I take it out with me when I go out to the front porch and listen to a book or music, while enjoying the weather and outdoors. With its built in clip (hence the name), it can be clipped to just about anything, including backpacks, belt loops, or anything in which you can loop to. The clip is solid and easy to put on/off.PROS: JBL quality, sound quality is awesome, ease of pairing to my iPhone, size, battery lifeCONS: None noted at the time of this review.

I got the JBL Clip 5 to clip onto my baby’s infant car seat and it has been amazing. The sound quality is really clear and it works perfectly for playing gentle white noise or lullabies while we’re on the go. The clip is strong and makes it super convenient to attach and move around as needed.It’s compact but powerful and the battery life is great which makes it reliable for longer outings. I also like that it feels durable and well made, so I don’t have to worry about it getting bumped around. Definitely a great little speaker that makes car rides smoother for both baby and me.

The media could not be loaded. So the reviews don’t lie. Yesterday I got my speaker. I brought it to a block party. For it being small it’s very loud and portable had it in my purse.my video below it’s loud and it’s not even on the highest volume. So I can honestly say it works well and durability pretty well snice I brought duo set with silicone case for the speaker itself and case to put it in but without it I think durable without with proper care of course.Charging speed I can honestly say it charge fast. It didn’t take too long which good thing.so overall this pretty good speaker you most definitely save money for people who are on a budget who don’t wanna spend so much money on the speaker. It’s perfect and doesn’t take too much space.

Quite impressed with the sound quality of this little speaker. Battery life isn't great, but it's tough and can take a beating (I use it for camping and at the beach). Works really well for my uses, great range, and it's small enough to take anywhere. Love the clip for hanging on trees, but the rubber grips on the back mean you can play it laying down if there's nothing to hang it on. Solid value for the money.

This is one, awesome little speaker. Easy to use and, with the carabiner-style clip, you can hang it up anywhere. For such a small unit, the sound is incredible. Keeps its charge for a long time too!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I liked the price and have had good luck with JBL speakers. I also wanted one that was waterproof, as I lost the last one in the bathtub. the sound is clear and loud, even when the volume is turned up--I can hear it from across the room. it's very light and portable, a big plus. It is completely compatible with my MacBook Air and can be played continuously for 12+hours, as well. my only complaint is the same as the others: it vibrates and can't sit upright. it has to be on its back or leaned up against another object, so if there's a carabiner attached to the top handle, the metal vibrates from the sound. if I had to do it again, I'd probably look for a free standing exterior speaker. otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars.
