I recently expanded my PS5 slim storage with an SSD w/heatsink. Ordered this at the same time on a recommendation and very glad I did, I feel much better about the heat management inside the console with this plate on instead of the OEM solid plate now that there's a drive in there. nice addition does help with cooling easy to install basic does help worth having $10 is plenty some were colored and more$$ if that's what you want i think. too much more and its overpriced, but does help dissipate heat over the solid cover the unit comes with. easy to install one screw good upgrade to help with the over heating issue

Its good to for heat dispatch out the ssd ots better then the stock i believe and it has dust cover film in it to nothing will go in but heat will flow out and cool it way better.

Definitely works great. Installed on my PS5 and was a perfect fit. Comes with a decent screw driver to remove the screw and install this. Kept cover off and ran the PS5 for several hours and can feel the heat escaping.

Easy to install, better quality and greater ventilation than the standard one. Totally recommended.
