Marshmallow root is an essential supplement for those who live with painful bladder syndrome (PBS) aka Interstitlal Cystitis (IC). It helps a little with rebuilding the bladder wall. Cannot be relied upon o do that on its own, you mst follow a strict diet alongside taking the supplement, but it does help.

I don’t know if it helps my reflux, it’s cheap and doesn’t do any harm so I take one every night because it maybe helps

Used to buy marshmallow root from H&B but they stopped doing it .I am so pleased they did .This product is far better for keeping my stomach calm and protected .Nothing I can take on prescription works wholly to stop the acid from burning up my insides ,but this mallow taken twice a day gives me much more relief.

These capsules relieve the symptoms of interstitial cystitis, though I did not always feel that they worked. Unfortunately, they contain magnesium stearate! - which causes cell death. It was someone from Amazon that recommended I ordered these capsules because the ones I usually ordered had been temporarily withdrawn because it was suspected there was something wrong with them. So I just ordered the present capsules without checking whether or not they contained magnesium stearate. I have written to Amazon asking why they offer products containing this harmful additive since it is patently unnecessary - nowadays one can get products without it. They have not answered yet.
