Better than Charlotte Tilbury's. Buy Elf and save your money for a good peptide serum.
Finally tried this Elf powder and prefer it over the high end one from Charlotte Tilbury. I had read so many reviews that the Tilbury translucent powder was the absolute best. But it was expensive for a tiny little jar. No powder expert here, but it seemed OK and didn't add much color. However, the high reviews for this Elf powder are indeed warranted. I think it is as finely milled as those high end, much higher priced products. Additionally for a pink-skinned sort of person I find the very, very subtle pinkish hue more flattering than those supposed translucent powders that actually have a yellowish tint to them. Now if you are warm toned v. cool toned I don't know if that would be an issue but the color seems universal to me. Additionally, the pinkish tone should have a more blurring effect which should be better for "mature" aka older folks who are worth their wrinkles. I'm not into glamour makeup and wouldn't know how to begin. Just looking to hide some of those well deserved wrinkles. Sun block was unheard of in the 60s. Nope, you added iodine to baby oil to "improve" your tan cause only the rich could afford to acquire tans. I even competed with a cousin on who could get darker at the beach! Crazy stupid but what did we know then? I think this powder looks more "natural" when a very slightly damp blender sponge is tapped over the powdered area. Now if one had a very soft, big fluffy brush maybe that would not be needed. But I try to keep my tools to the just a few brushes. Heck, I can't keep track of all the "necessary" brushes and what brush is used for what product or process. Learning thanks to Youtube so I don't look awful or clownish. This powder is highly recommended even to set your concealer or color corrector. Yes, I'm learning the lingo.

Love it!
LOVE. I had been looking for a good powder for a while, like A WHILE, and I tried many and didn’t liked them. This one is lightweight, has nice coverage and that packaging, I mean! The little slide thing for the powder not to make a mess out of everything is genius! 10/10!

Good Value!
Gives a soft glow WITHOUT looking greasy! I'm 61 and don't want it to crease or make my wrinkles worse. Well THIS doesn't do that and its a good valur for the money! It will be MY jam from now on!

Good powder
Be careful not to spill - gets all over and hard to clean off furniture. Good powder as it is finely milled and easy to apply with good coverage.

Good Product
I purchased this in medium and it is just right for my skin tone. It does a great job of setting my foundation and does not feel heavy. I like that it seems more subtle than compressed powders. I have just recently started wearing make up again (except for eyeliner and mascara) so I cannot compare this to other loose powders on the market but it seems a lot lighter than loose powders I have used in the past. As another reviewer has noted, I do not like how the powder comes up through the sifter holes but does not really go back down. I too am having to deal with too much powder on my brush with each dip that I have to tap off and try to not make a mess. (I don't know if it still exists in other current brands, but there used to be a powder that had a "floating" screen that sat on top of the powder, not attached to the container, and when you tapped your brush on it it released a "just right" amount of powder. All loose powders need that kind of dispenser screen thing, imo.) But, because I like the way this powder looks and feels I am willing to put up with that small negative and I would definitely buy this again.

Not right for me
Too glittery for me. It’s okay for the price but it seems too glittery and shiny. I get used to matte setting powder and it’s not right for me.Also it’s not setting well, my make up moves faster than other brands I used. For the price it’s okay, but I won’t order again. I would use it more as highlight glow than setting powder.

Great powder with a great price!
Best loose powder for the money! I have been using this Elf loose powder for 2 years and zero complaints. Easy to apply with a brush while setting makeup perfectly and absorbing oil all day. Looks like a flawless finish after I apply the powder.

The Pink color is wonderful, looks translucent.
This is the best powder I have found for such a great price. It doesn't emphasize my fine lines at all. It takes the shine away and adds a soft glow that makes my skin look great. I bought the pale pink color for my light medium on the warm side of neutral skin. I use it sparingly, just on my too shiny forehead as I do with all powders.
