Fit our 5-Gallon plastic fuel containers as hoped and do not leak. Over time we sometimes over tighten or the sun and dry weather weakens the plastic and they can crack and start leaking. But these are great replacements and I've not found any that perform better.

Easy to use, seals the gas can and won't let water in.

I like these. The only thing I could see to be improved is that they are too deep for some gas cans. The edge of the cap could bottom out before getting a good seal inside the cap. They just barely fit my MidWest steel cans. They are easy to grip for tightening and removing. The plastic is a better grade for a range of temperatures and far less likely to crack, shrink, or strip. I feel greatly more confident in these than the original caps for transporting and storing gasoline safely. I'll soon buy more for the gas cans at my workplace.

No more having to ensure the cap with a hole seats properly on top of embedded spout. Then fooling around with venting on spout. Simply screw on the cap and you know there won't be any leaks. Also using venting caps just makes pouring gas far less messy.
