i absolutely love this shampoo and it’s matching conditioner! since it contains a decent amount of protein, i like using it after a more deeply clarifying shampoo and when my curly hair is in need of some reviving (sometimes overdoing it on the moisturizing products can cause it to feel limp). this shampoo cleanses excellently on its own and has a clear, lightweight texture. it smells light, sweet, and faintly minty in my opinion. the conditioner is super lightweight yet softening enough without weighing hair down. i would 100% recommend both to my wavy and curly folks looking for an extra protein boost in their wash day routine!

This is the first I have ever tried this companies Shampoo and Conditioner for Curly hair. I have to say I first noticed the light pretty scent, a mix of vanilla and coconut. It lathers very well and when i used the conditioner I was very pleased afterwards noticing right away that it washed out well and my hair didn’t feel weighted down or greasy as it gets sometimes when I use a conditioner. I also feel this left my hair somewhat more bouncy, felt like my hair was in better condition and was holding my curls nicer. The smell was still present, although very subtle but when I passed my husband he made a comment or I should say a compliment about my hair smelling so pretty and how nice it looked. Coming from him it really touched me because he usually doesn’t notice those things and if he did he isn’t the type to really mention it. I will definitely be purchasing these two again. They come as a set which is nice and the price was more than reasonable for the size. One other thing I liked. Usually I can’t tell the shampoo from the conditioner so I usually keep one in one area of the tub and the other in another area so I know them apart. But with this all though the bottles are exactly the same and being I don’t have glasses on or contacts in I can’t decipher the wording of which is which but the conditioner has a swirl so that when you touch the bottle you can actually feel the swirl like a curl going up and down the bottle on one side. Where as the shampoo is smooth. Good way to tell them apart if they did happen to have to be together when you are in the shower or tub.

Shampoo version of this scores Yuka 86/100(Excellent); this Conditioner partner to the shampoo scores 65/100(good). Wonder why? It worked well enough. Hair was smooth and soft.

I wanted to use this at least twice before reviewing it. I used the shampoo and conditioner and NO other products on wash day for a fair review. There are 2 big things for me with hair care: it needs to smell good and it needs to leave my hair soft. This fails at the first, and only manages the 2nd on actual wash day. So I wash every 3 days BUT I get my hair wet everyday otherwise it's a hot mess. On wash day, I was impressed with how my hair waves/curls looked (I'm borderline on which kind of hair I have, I debated this or the curly version but if I recall, that has some sort of oil in it and I try to avoid oil products on my hair because it tends to then make my face/neck break out). Anyway, I wear my hair up, always, and although I know it's bad for my hair, it gets put up wet, I NEVER blow dry my hair, haven't in over 20 years. Well the little ponytail coming out of my up-do had very defined waves/curls and they were still soft. I used it again today and same thing. However a few issues: 1. I don't like how it smells, in fact, it barely smells like anything, maybe very VERY faintly of coconut. 2. I HATED the way my hair looked and felt on day 2 and 3. It felt very rough, coarse and dry and WAY more tangled than it usually is when I get up in the morning. Even after wetting it in the shower, it didn't feel soft anymore. 3. It does not feel like it is really conditioning much in the shower, after rinsing it out my hair doesn't feel smooth and sleek, it feels rough. On the plus side, even though it's sulfate free (don't get me started, I DESPISE sulfate free shampoo but it's getting harder and harder to find any that aren't), this lathers REALLY well, but my hair didn't necessarily feel super clean either. I've gotten way better results from a drugstore version that's been around for over 30 years, but that was leaving my hair feeling sticky as it dried (maybe it was just because I'd had it for so long in the closet without using it?). I've had hair products I LOVED in the past---Agree and Pantene, but both changed their formulas and then I hated them. And yes, for those of you wondering, I've tried many "salon" quality products and was not impressed. I have always had better results with drug store brands, I just cannot find one I like anymore. For you youngsters, hair changes with age BIG TIME, and not in a good way :-(

I got this conditioner in a combo pack with the shampoo. The combination is my favorite for washing my hair. After using both, my value feels clean and soft, but doesn't get too fluffy, which happens with most other wavy hair products that I have tried. The smell is clean and subtle and doesn't seem overpowering.

Absolutely LOVE this shampoo and conditioner! Thick wavy dry long, past hips, hair here. 3rd set received. Best budget friendly wavey hair routine products. My waves have WEIGHTLESS hydration, SOFT, less frizz,SHINY waves(specially with warm then cold rise after conditioner and hair oil application after dry). Got their wave babe hair mousse waiting for my braids air dry right now lol highly suggest to wash your hair based on hair type. How you wash and what tools, and how/when you use the tools/products make HUGE difference in hair results.
