Toddler bottle, but can be fun for a 6 month old
Great quality product, stainless steel is easy to clean, although we only use it for water at the moment. I was initially concerned that the silicone attracted lots of dust and hair from the air!! But after one wash, the bottle seemed to lose this static attraction. The lid stays dust free and is a lovely extra teething toy for my daughter (aged 7 months). We have never used bottles, so didn't want to introduce the teat/nipple bottle top, so went for the toddler sippy spout. She gets the water out by chomping on the spout, so it goes all down her top too, but we have a sippy cup too now and I think she is starting to learn that you just need to suck not chew... but it still gets messy with water down her front. So does the sippy cup, so we just use a bib with drinking now.11oz bottle is too heavy for a 7 month old, but it is handy to take when we are out and about. If she is thirty, we can offer water to help her last a little longer between breastfeeding. If supervised, this bottle can be used with less spillage with a 7 mont old, but I guess it is designed for an older baby, as the title suggests: Toddler sippy spout bottle :-)

Very happy
My nephew loves his 'big boy' bottle. Great for putting milk with a teat attachment because it keeps the temperature for hours which means he can drink it straight away. I've had no problem filling the bottle to the correct measurement using the internal markings. As long as you have good lighting it should be fine. It also works great as a water bottle. He's able to drink from it easier and it doesn't spill unless he really bashes it about and even then only a little water comes out.
