These adhesive chair foot caps worked great to replace the worn out plastic feet on our wrought iron patio chairs and table. The key to having them adhere and stay in place is to thoroughly clean the metal chair foot of all dirt and rust first using a steel brush and then wiping away any remaining residue with alcohol or acetone before attaching the new caps. I used a small, narrow wire brush that attached to my cordless drill to remove all debris and corrosion (like the one shown on the left in the photo). Once these plastic feet are in place, the chair will glide easily on composite deck material without scratching it.

I had trouble finding glides for my 1990s enameled metal patio table & chairs. These fit perfectly and were easy to install. As a bonus, it had some of the best instructions I've ever seen! Kudos for a great product!

I tried a few different brands –– the style that have to be tapped in. I could not make them fit. These caps worked well. They were very easy to install and they are super smooth so my chairs now glide effortlessly across my deck.My concern is winter. Will they hold up in our sub zero Minnesota winters? We use our backyard all 4 seasons so these will have to withstand freezing and thawing. We typically get a few -10º F days every winter. The caps are not hard plastic so they should be able to expand and contract with extreme temps. I think they will be fine.

Only 9 plastic pieces were included. Already opened and removed sticker backs before I realized we were so short. Count your pieces before you start! Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Easy to insert! Hope that they last a good season. We have the trex deck so wanted something that wouldn't scratch. The chairs and table glide with ease!

They slide easy on concrete and have a bit of a cushion which helps them not to wear better. They keep the metal of the chairs from rubbing on the concrete patio saving the chair legs from rusting and wearing out. Easy to apply to each leg.

item is perfect for what I need. I had problems getting complete sets. I ordered 9 packages of 24 pcs and all of them came with missing pieces. One package only had 5 in it out of the 24. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

These fix perfect on my vintage wrought iron patio chairs. I tried others that just didn’t fit.
