I like this floor lamp now that I have put it together. When I first received the box I wondered how could they fit a floor lamp with a tall shade in such a small and relatively thin box? When I opened it, there seemed to be a ton of loose parts which were obscured by the plastic protective bags.As it turned out, everything for the lamp was pre-assembled other than successively screwing in each piece in order and then cutting off the plastic protective wrap. The base is very heavy which was a relief since the pole is thin. This design makes the lamp very stable once put in place. The on/off switch is thoughtfully designed as a foot switch so you can use the lamp behind a sofa with the switch accessible for example.The shade has to be assembled - however it is easy too! Just use the 3 clips on the top ring and 3 clips on the bottom wring and then smoothly fasten the hook and loop along the long end (height) and make sure it is even. I had a couple of threads hanging off the seams but I just snipped them off with scissors. Once assembled it is surprisingly sturdy and looks like any other shade. There is a threaded plastic nut to fasten the shade to the lamp.I used an Govee E26 Smart Bulb that I can control from my phone and Alexa and it works great!

I needed a little extra light in a corner. This was super easy to put together,, and the different colored lights are fun! Its not a high end lamp. Very basic, but serves it's purpose well!

I have two of these in room, and together they are not bright enough to light it fully. Mostly for accent lighting.

Love the different settings for this lamp. The functionality is simple and the look fits my office aesthetic perfectly. If you want a bright setting or a calm low light setting depending on your mood, this has it all.
