I love this tool. Its amazing.
I havent had to program anything but as a scan tool, it works amazing. If you are a truck owner that stays getting maintenance work done, this would be a great tool to use to pinpoint whats going on with your truck even if you decide to take it to the shop. You will have an idea of what the problem is.

What you come to expect from Launch
This is my third piece of Launch diagnostic equipment. The CRP129 Heavy Duty Truck Scanner came packaged well and arrived in great shape. It comes with the blow molded hard case, charge cable and diagnostic cables, not just a 16pin OBD plug. The touchscreen is not the most sensitive but I have become used to that with equipment that has been ruggedized to live in a repair shop environment. Though I wish the screen were larger, it has good visibility. The fit and finish of the tool is is on par with my other Launch equipment and it has rubberized corners to soften impact and drops, which we all know happens in a shop. It was easy to startup and setup out of the box and I got connected and updated easy enough. The shop Wi-Fi is not the fastest and it did take a couple of hours to fully update everything the first time.For a heavy diesel mechanic, this type of tool is a must have. I ordered it to work on RAM 2500 with a Cummins. Though this tool will manage Cummins Diesel specific service functions and diagnostics, I find it a companion for my other automotive scantool to work on consumer pickups. I do not service the "big rigs" so I don't have a grasp on functionality and compatibility through that equipment.Overall, a quality built unit for those diesel specific diags and services.

Great
This was way way better than i imagined. Worked by far better then i thought. Very easy to set it up and what not, instructions are very very handy for some stuff but other then that it's just like a car scanner just better.
