Can you plant this in august

Yes, you can but if it is a young plant it needs to be kept inside in a cool but light place during the winter. It may well lose all of its leaves during the winter, but please prune it in Much or April when it will put on new growth. In early summer cut off some new stems, place in water in a light but not sunny place and they will readily put down roots. You can use the leaves in many receipts and teas or dry the leaves and use them in baking in the winter. Hope this helps

Do I need to punch out the tops to make it bushy?

The plants are bushy anyway so should not need any pruning unless the stems get too long later

Is it too late to plant now

No the weather is warmer than when I Planted mine so you should have success.

Would you feed this, after planting in container?

If you are using new compost you shouldn't have to feed it for at least 2 months. Then just an occasional feed with a general fertiliser when it is growing is enough. It won't need any feed from autumn to the spring.
