It was time to replace my cheap knife with NSF handle. This was on sale for $23.The handle has adequate non-slip properties, but I only tested without gloves in soapy water.The packaging definitely protects the product but feels excessive.It is sharp out of the box.They didn't specify the stainless steel grade but it is seems better than your average budget steel.

I love this knife! It is incredibly sharp so be careful. This is definitely a knife for the more experienced chef, and not a beginner like me. It will definitely cut through bone with ease so be careful. I love the handle, look, and feel of the knife. It is easy to hold because the balancing point is just right.I would buy this again without a second thought or as a gift. I cannot recommend this enough. My husband is the chef in the family and he rants and raves about this knife.

This knife is great for doing all your cutting, whether it's veggies or meat. This slices through things with ease. Cutting harder items like larger carrots is also fairly easy. There's not much effort needed to do the cutting, so there's less fatigue in your hands if you're doing a lot. The weight of this knife is just about right in my opinion. The blade is very very sharp, but some foods tend to stick to the main part as you're cutting (which I thought the groves/dimples in there would help with). It's not a big deal, but just something I thought would not happen with this style.The knife comes packaged very nicely in a box, but there's no sheath to cover it when stored. I only hand wash this with a sponge and dry it immediately. This knife isn't cheap, but it most likely will be the main knife that's used in you kitchen and should last a very long time. You can also sharpen the blade in the future is needed (with a proper sharpener). I'd highly recommend it to add to your kitchen!

This knife is razor-sharp! I do all the cooking in the house, so I really enjoy it when my chef knife makes life easy on me. I'm using this as a multi-purpose knife, cutting both meat & veg. It is incredible at dicing raw chicken. Nothing is worse than a dull knife when you are trying to cut chicken into little pieces. The weight feels great to me, and the 7" length gives me enough real estate for when I want to cut longer things like a rib roast into steaks. It has the Granton edge, which seems to help keep meat and veg from sticking to the knife after each slice. It is full-tang, so your handle wont "fall off" like some of the cheaper knives. The quality is excellent, and the knife arrived in gift-appropriate packaging. The price is very reasonable compared to similar quality knives I have purchased. Highly recommended.
