Light-weight moisturizer
I have psoriasis so I'm pretty careful on what I use on my skin. The ingredients in this seemed pretty clear cut for the main part so I decided to try it. This is a really light-weight moisturizing serum. This has the lightest of scents to this, you can barely smell it. I tried it and it made my skin feel really soft and I didn't have any reactions to it. I don't know this made my face feel more moisturized throughout the day like my other, heavier moisturizer but since it's hot out I don't really want anything heavy on my face. I have the feeling that the longer you use this the better it will moisturize. Now, onto the packaging. Gorgeous. There is a theme throughout the whole thing and they went above and beyond with the design. However, sometimes it is a bit much, in particular the instructions. They are very well themed but as someone who is new to serums I really just needed to know, you use it after washing your face in the morning and the night, not all the flower language but I get it, so that is not the biggest deal, the bigger deal is the font. It was small and in a foil font and it was kind of hard to read and again, being new to these types of products I needed as much info as possible. I appreciate that this also came with a little packet to throw in your purse or bag for on the go, that was a nice touch. Time will tell if I like this over my typical moisturizer but so far, especially in the summer I like this and I'm impressed at how soft it made my skin feel right out of the gate and feels soft all day.

hydration boost
The little dropper bottle with the starry night sky design looks really pretty on my bathroom counter. The dropper itself is easy to use and dispenses just the right amount of serum. The serum itself is a lightweight, clear liquid that absorbs quickly into the skin. It has a very faint scent, almost undetectable, which is a plus for those with sensitive noses. The biggest benefit I've noticed is the hydration boost. My skin definitely feels plumper and more moisturized after using the serum, especially in drier weather. However, I haven't seen any dramatic anti-aging effects like the product description suggests. Maybe with longer use, I might see some improvement in fine lines, but so far, the results have been subtle. Also, layering it with other skincare products can sometimes lead to pilling, so it's important to experiment and find the right application order for your routine. The Mystic Kiss Solar Serum is a decent hydrator. It leaves my skin feeling plump and moisturized, and the packaging is undeniably cute. However, the anti-aging claims seem a bit overstated, and it might not be the best choice for oily skin types.

Ineffective and Irritating
This serum did absolutely nothing for my skin. After a few uses, I noticed irritation and dryness instead of hydration. The texture is sticky, and it doesn’t absorb well.

Love it!
I am in love with the packaging and containers! They're ombre clear to black with iridescent print. And the lids...the lids are little top hats with an iridescent layer on top! I love it!!! It brings out my inner shiny gothic witchiness. I haven't even thrown the boxes away yet, and that's always the first thing I do. The serum itself is more milky, almost like a light lotion. It's not like your typical water-based serums. It absorbs quickly into the skin. It feels nice. I have no problems with it at this moment. So why only 4 stars instead of 5? I don't like giving skincare products 5 stars unless I have used them for a good period and see substantial results. Skincare products aren't going to change your skin instantly. Even a month isn't enough time. If it gives me noticeable results in the future, I will update my review to reflect that. I have fairly easy-going skin. I don't typically experience irritation from products, and this item doesn't bother my skin, but I can't speak for everyone. My only complaint is that having the instructions on the jar would be nice. I didn't immediately throw out the box like I usually do, so I was able to retrieve the instruction card that was in it. I am pretty bad with instructions, so I prefer when they are printed onto the bottle for future reference.

Good lotion, disappointing theme
The first thing that stands out is the quality of the packaging and how much they invested in branding materials so you know this face lotion is set apart and worth paying a high price. There’s also a unique theme related to mysticism and what appears to be worship of the universe or self, or something along those lines. Frankly, I could really do without all of their nonsense branding. I absolutely love the lotion here, but I’m really put off by this “embrace your divinity” concept since there is only one true God, and it is not ok to promote this idea that people are deities. Not sure if they actually believe what they’re stating or if they just thought it would help sell the product, but it’s unfortunately going to prevent me from ordering again no matter how great the serum is.
