Great motor skill activity for toddler or even bigger kids.. you can make many kinds of play and obstacle courses with just this toy! The color is great and the product itself is durable and well-built! I like that it can also be assembled easily so I can put it away when nit in use.

Bought it for my almost 1 year old for Christmas. He started to climb and seemed fitting. I would definitely recommend putting pads around it or stay close as they are learning proper climbing and balance skills. Construction is solid. Would recommend a drill on a lower settings instead of the included Allen wrench, to save your fingers and wrists. Overall I would recommend for any new parents with an adventurous almost toddler.

Product is great but I would definitely not range the age so high. I think this would be more realistic for 1-3yr olds. It’s is less than an inch off the ground and the 3beams are very short so not big enough for a 5year old as it’s too small for my 3.5yo.

The toy comes as two parts - 6 round wooden coloured circles and 6 reversible balance beams with 4 designs. You can configure the beams in various different shapes, allowing for kids to get creative with how they play with them! I love the natural wooden aesthetic and fact they are fairly light weight which doesn't make it an eye sore in the house. I'm not sure they would be as good outside, they seem more like an indoor house toy.

We have the bluewood pikler triangle set and wanted to get the balance beam to match. The colors and quality are great. Super easy to assemble. We had it on carpet and it was fairly stable for our 23 month old to walk on (my husband even tried it out). They could both balance fairly well on it. However, while the designs on it look cute and plateful, they are not comfortable on your feet. My daughter didn’t want to step on them. We turned it upside down so she was just walking on flat wood and she liked that much better. Since she won’t walk on it the way it was intended, we decided to return and get a plastic beam set from a big name store for less than 1/2 the price (it’s Black Friday week so lots of good sales). It is a bit pricey for what you get compared to other sets out there. I understood the higher price with the pikler set because of all the extra handles, but the only difference between this and a plastic set is that this is lower to the ground

I’m always looking for ways to create obstacle courses for my toddler and this has been a great addition. I love how easy it is to change the shape, the fun colors, and that it’s coated to prevent splintering. My toddler loves rearranging it more than walking on it lol.

Definitely for smaller toddlers 5 and under!

Would be great starting at 18 months! A great way for kids to work on their balance, problem solving, and gross motor development! Quality is also a bonus! We love this set and is especially great as it comes apart for easy storage. Great addition for winter indoors!

Not overly impressed with the balance beam. Found it came off the track often and easily.

I ordered this for my 3yr old Grandson. He liked it the 1st day, but mastered it immediately & had no interest after that. I think it would’ve been more appealing when he’s was just starting to walk & climb…he’s pretty advanced with climbing & balancing himself on EVERYTHING & freaks me out constantly! Haha. It’s a cute & solid wood learning tool, that’s well made with a smooth finish…no sliver risks. I do think it’s more suitable for 1-3yr olds. Overall, I like it but missed the age range. It’s currently priced at $99.99, which seems a little high, but it is a good quality item that might be worth it, if you get it early enough & can pass it on to your next kid.

Colours are nice, but the beams move around too much and shift out of place and make it slippery and falling happens more. Don’t use them much because of it.
