Pros: -The ability to see around the trailer is very nice. -The install was extremely easy and straightforward. Cons: -The 7” screen just feels really cheap, like it seems to be temu quality and shouldn’t be over $50 -The camera quality is terrible, even at the advertised 720p. I obviously wasn’t expecting 4K quality but even most 720 devices at this size appear to be much high resolution and are typically very cheap. -The quality at this price point should be unacceptable in 2024, this seems like early 2000’s technology. I owned Ring cameras and many other outdoor cameras over the past decade and none of them were this bad. -Lack of Bluetooth features are a major con for me -No option for recording or adding a device to record on -Motion detection is way too sensitive, even on the lowest setting it will detect movement from the tiniest bugs and even shadows from cloud movement. The amount of times it triggers in a day makes it annoying to use on motion detection, which is one of the main reasons I wanted this camera. I have purchased many outdoor cameras that were a fraction of the price with better sensitivity settings. -The lack of useful features has made me not really use it after the first few days of ownership. -Connection issues in my truck while attempting to back-up. -No usb power option made it difficult to use in a truck with no cigarette lighter. I had to purchase a 3rd party usb cord. This is something each camera should come with in my opinion. I would assume there would be many more uses for it if there were more power options. Mine was limited to my bedroom until this purchase was made and I installed it in my living room. -No mounting options I really don’t mean to bash this company or the camera but I don’t want people expecting something more than what they’re getting out of this. I really hope Furrion will step up and make this system better in the future.

I am pulling a 32' camper behind an F-150 w/out extended Tow Mirrors. The rear camera is a must for backing this thing in. Even without tow mirrors I personally have no problem seeing down the whole side of the camper using my side mirrors. I rarely ever use the side camera on this thing. Recommendations: Hook your camper up and see how well you can see down the sides w/ your side mirrors. Its a lot easier than fidgeting with the screen, and I personally find the screen to small to keep all 3 views up all the time. If I could go back I'd personally buy just the rear-camera package.

I went with this because I needed a backup camera for my 33 ft total length travel trailer. I looked through multiple options, but the Furrion appeared to have the best monitor setup I could find. Having a pre-wired setup on the trailer was an added bonus. For me it works like it should 95% of the time. Sometimes going down the road it can get a bit jumpy, but for the most part it works well. The side cameras don't hardly help at all, as I can get much perspective on how close something actually is and still need my wife to spot for me on my blind side. But for backing into a space, it's amazing. You can actually get an idea of what's behind you and the one day it does save you, it pays for itself. That said, the back camera and monitor is a must and very happy. The side cameras add little benefit, but still nice. I can't find a brightness adjustment for the monitor and I've gone through every option I can find. I would still probably get the side cameras if I were to buy again, as one day they might save me from some tail wag incident. Picture is solid when the connection is good. Good luck using as a security camera, as you're pretty much guaranteed to wire this in with your parking lamps, and thus need those on for the cameras to be on. Nothing is stopping you from wiring them into their own connection and having a switch, but it sounds too time consuming for me for little gain. Likewise, you'll need a 12 cigarette plug in your trailer to run the monitor or supply it with 12v with a charger that's not provided. For me, I just need it when I'm driving and turning my parking lights on isn't much of an issue to get the cameras on.

Dec 10, 2024 - Furrion Vision S 3-Camera Wireless RV Backup System with 7-Inch Monitor, 1 Rear Sharkfin, 2 Side Running Light Cameras, Infrared Night Vision, Wide-Angle View, Hi-Res, IP65 Waterproof - FOS07TAEN Installing the side lights. There is an additional "Trigger" Wire which supposedly is to be connect to the left and right turn signals. There is nothing in the documentation which explains its purpose, or what it will do when "triggered". Poor form, Furrion. I dropped it a star for poor documentation and lack of further information at the website. Dec 1, 2024 - Furrion Vision S 3-Camera Wireless RV Backup System with 7-Inch Monitor, 1 Rear Sharkfin, 2 Side Running Light Cameras, Infrared Night Vision, Wide-Angle View, Hi-Res, IP65 Waterproof - FOS07TAEN So far, I have installed the rear camera -- on a not-pre-wired travel trailer. All the cameras are to be wired to clearance lights. That means, you must drive with parking lights on to use the cameras. The rear camera is clear, the parking lines are appropriate. I have not tried them in the dark yet.

Bought the 2 side and one rear with a 7" monitor The good: Relatively simple setup. had to drill a couple holes for the side cameras as the original marker light holes are different. Not a problem. Also used butt connectors to wire in. Did not have the turn signal wire pre run. As mine were bought together, they came pre-paired. 40' Torque T314, so far no issues with connectivity. 2016 Dodge Ram 2500. The bad: Who takes less than 10 seconds to back a camper into a spot? That's the time you get with the "View All" setting - then you get to go back to one camera view. Which honestly, if you are backing up by yourself, is better than jumping out of the drivers seat and checking clearances and such, but dang it is annoying to keep hitting "view all". ONE camera view whilst traveling at speed wish I could set to sides or just back, but options are all for 10 seconds, or one - in theory there is another setting for turn signal, but I did not have that wire, nor did/do I feel like running said wire.
