A great book written by Imam al-Shafi'i and translated by Majid Khadduri. I enjoyed reading it and found it very informative. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in Islamic jurisprudence and finding out more about the legal framework in Islam.

One of the Most amazing books. A Muslim Sunni -if I may say- Must have one of these. a scholar or a non-muslim curious will have to get one of these. I might be exaggerating but I want to confess that in todays day and age and a certain influence in Islam sects I find that the Shafii Mathhab would be the safest to read when wanting to find out the truth of Islam.This is a treasure as well as any Book of the Shafii. It might be helpful also to point out notes against how Islam is not a terrorist religion. I might sound repeating myself but this book might identify Islams real Jurisprudence and Creed.A must have...
