Star Anise-Whole Chinese Star Anise Pods, Dried Anise Star Spice (3 oz)

This makes such a delicious cup tea ! I love it. I bought it because I read where it is good to boost your immune system and good to make tea for when you have a cold. I had no idea it was so tasty too. I add one pod to regular tea and use two pods if I'm just making a cup with that alone. It's very economical ,this bag makes a lot of tea!

The product is exactly as advertised and arrived super-fast.

Most of the product was in good shape some broken pieces but good for tea. Fresh.

Used for home made chili crisp. Great aroma and flavor. Many stars were broken but usable. Worked great and created a rich, complex, and fragrant spice mix

The scent of this star anise is divine, and the taste it adds to my home-blended herbal tea (I use one piece, or the equivalent of, in a 4 cup blend with other herbs and spices) is so satisfyingly delicious. I'll repurchase when I run out, but this is a lot of anise for using it one piece at a time - I'll be using it for quite a while before I repurchase. :)

My wife said she like Pho so I needed this as one of the ingredients. I'm not much of a licorice fan and the smell kind of put me off wondering if it would command the attention of the Pho as I'd not made it before. Happily is wan't the case. Wife really liked my version and all is well. I'd recommend.
