NORTIV 8 Men's Waterproof Winter Snow Boots AVENUE

I think these boots are great and can't beat the price. I don't want to spend 200 bucks on a boot I'm just gonna tear up. Kind of heavy but once broken in they are great and very comfortable and warm. My last pair lasted me three years. I do live in TX so they are very seasonal for me but great for working, stylish, waterproof, and durable. I also like that they are a bit wider than some other brands.

These boots are fantastic. I initially got them for a weekend in the snow, but I've ended up wearing them almost every day in cold weather. They are comfortable, sturdy, and keep my feet warm. After spending hours in the snow, my feet didn't get cold or wet at all. I love them. For sizing, I usually wear a 9.5, but I recommend going for a size 10—I did, and they fit perfectly, especially when worn with warm socks.

Decent boots, difficult to break-in, but not long. When breaking in a new pair of boots I wear them mostly untied and loose at the top, and over time tie them more over time as the material becomes flexible. These boots are concave under the toes which mashes them a little, so keep your toenails carefully trimmed at first. I taped one of my toes so the toenail wouldn’t cut into it. The company that makes these boots needs to fix the design of the insole. Now that they’re breaking in however, they’re getting pretty comfortable. I wear them up to 12 hours a day and I work all day in rain, snow, ice, and mud. The traction is really good, but the best feature is that these are essentially galoshes and are totally waterproof, so muddy water is not an issue. They’re also well insulated so even on the coldest mornings my feet are not at all an issue, and I can focus on and enjoy my job. For the price these boots are worth the break-in effort.

If anyone is considering these men’s winter boots, I would say to get at least a full size bigger. My son & I both have had foot/ankle surgeries & need wider shoes/boots & we both tried these boots. They did not have women’s size 10W, so I got the recommended 8.5W in men’s, which were also too narrow & small. He tried the 13 wide & they were also too narrow. The company offered another boot for me in the men’s 9.5 wide & I got those. Those were much better, wider in the ankle & mid foot, but still a little narrow in the toes. I’m going to try to break them in as they are a little stiff, but the cushioning is wonderful! They are also padded very well on the sides. They seem to be well constructed. They have great tread. The shoestrings are plenty long!I must say the the company has done everything to try to make this right with me! They have emailed me multiple times to see how things were fitting & if I needed anything & told me to not worry about sending back the ones that didn’t fit & to donate them. So if you’re having trouble hopefully they will be as kind & caring as they were to us! I have not had many sellers reach out to me like they have. So if I could give them 10 stars on customer service (Ivy) I would!

I bought these for my wife. She was using her company boots to shovel the snow. She is a paramedic and complaining about how cold her feet were. BUT THESE she loves. They keep her feet warm, are made, and are true to size. She even wears them to work on cold days.

Great boots for the price. It keep my feet dry and warm all winter long. I would recommend these boots to everyone.

Vendor describes leather in item. There is no leather. Otherwise, fit and construction seems good. I will know soon enough if they become dangerously slippery in cold weather, as I suspect they will based on the hard feel of the sole even at room temperature.Update: we have just come through a very cold period, with temperatures down to -45C for many days running. These boots are surprisingly warm for a couple of hours of moderate activity daily even in the high 30's below. This with two pairs of quality dry, clean socks and thoroughly dried boots every day. The lowers did not crack or show any signs of degradation whatsoever. Nor did the uppers. The synthetic fleece at the boot tops shows a little wear, but not much. It could just be normal packing is all. Though the lowers feel somewhat stiff at room temperature, remarkably they don't seem to change, even in extreme cold.I have never done a review on any of my amazon purchases until the day I first did this one and two others. I was dismayed that all three of the products described "leather" materials and they were all synthetic. That bugs me. Nortiv8 were the only ones who contacted me through amazon to address my concern. The others did not. I have returned one of the other items (foot wear) and the other item is ok to be used even though it is not leather. Disappointed, but it will not affect usage. I would have returned these nortiv8 boots too, but since the company seems genuinely concerned about customer satisfaction I thought I would give them a chance. Well it appears that the materials used in these boots is very good quality synthetics. Traction is excellent and they had no issues in truly cold weather. So far so good. No doubt they would be warm for hours and hours in -20C weather during some kind of moderate activity, walking for example. I have walked about 10 miles or more in them while doing things out in the cold and they have performed well.Obviously, with any winter boot it is important to dry them thoroughly every day and to wear good quality clean, dry, warm socks, preferably two pairs. With that in mind, these boots are warm. And they are very lightweight, which is an advantage of the synthetic uppers over leather. These boots appear to be very well sewn (nearly perfect in every way) with what appears to be good thread.I liked them enough that I am getting another piece of Nortiv 8 footwear. Their customer service is superlative. I have had quite a bit of back-and-forth emails with them and they have been consistently quick and thorough in their response. It is sometimes hard to find that these days, unfortunately.I will recommend this company highly. I changed my rating to five stars.

I purchased these to replace my last pair of boots that only lasted 6 months. These feel solid and are very comfortable and warm. I cannot speak for their durability but all good so far. They were delivered quickly and were a reasonable price.

I tried another pairs at a major retail shop and I found them uncomfortable to wear. This ones are way more confortable so far. I had to return a pair when first buying them because they were a little larger than what I was after and I had no issues in doing so, then I re-ordered my actual sneakers size and they fit me perfectly, enough room for thicker socks if needed. I've wore them on temperatures somewhere between -15C to -20C and they've kept my feet warm for the most part with regular thickness socks. I'd recommend.
