Use a 3/8 drill bit
Use a 3/8 bit to gently drill through top of the bucket. Seen here on a 2 gallon food grade bucket from my local home improvement store. May all your brews & ferments be a roaring success. 🦁

The best airlock for fermentation.
I needed fast for my wine fermentation and needed to rack over more. Got them just in time.

Had to drill holes in the red caps
There were no holes in the caps for the gasses to get out. The plastic is soft so not super clear but clear enough to monitor progress and cleanliness. Once I drilled the holes in the cap they are functional and affordable.

Worked as described but the stoppers were a bit tricky to install I lost two of them inside the bottle by pushing too far to get a good seal. There are now like a ship in a bottle 🤣
