Great Replacement with an OEM Look and Fit
I bought this valve to repair a GEN4000 generator. The original had broken off the barbed hose fitting on the outlet side of the valve. I don't know what kind of cheezy metal that was, but it was extremely brittle and crumbly when attempting to get the broken barb out of the fuel line. I can't really pronounce the brand name of the new valve, but it was an easy "plug and play" fit for this generator! Its look and fitment were exactly like the original. I removed most of the fuel from the tank and sat the generator up on its frame so the fuel valve would be above any remaining liquid in the tank. Then it was just a matter of unscrewing the old valve and screwing on the new one. The new valve came with the little plastic vertical "straw" strainer. Once in place, I reconnected the fuel line, set the generator back down on its feet, and added some fresh gas. There were no leaks at the new valve and the generator fired up immediately. I turned the new valve to the OFF position and waited a few minutes for the generator to die. The new valve fit and worked like it should!

Installed this part months ago and so far no leaks. My generator is a Generac 5500. I will recommend to replace this filter and also to clean o replace the carburetor. Also, if planning to storage your Generator, add some additives to the gasoline so Gunk will not build up in the tank or carburetor.

Fit perfect easy to install
