Like an Internal Filler - Plumping my Skin
Ceramides decline with age, just like the human body loses 1% of collagen every year after age 21. I decided to give this a try since my collagen and hyaluronic acid supplement was working well, but there was still something missing. After 3 weeks, WOW: my skin is filling in from the inside out - almost like an internal filler (like the fillers you get at the dermatology office). It's smoother, firmer, and even the color is more uniform. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but even my problem of overproduction of sweat is disappearing - pores are likely smaller now - AND - I can shave my beard and body hair without irritation! That has been a HUGE benefit in-and-of itself! Anyway, it does a month, but wow are the results worth it. It quenches your skins thirst from the inside out. Some of the atrophy (loss of fullness in my face due to weight loss) is noticeably filling in. Can't love this product enough. Customer for life. :) PLEASE NOTE: I also take a collagen supplement with hyaluronic acid (both are found naturally in your body and what keep your skin firm, plump, lifted but you *cannot* get collagen through a cream because the collagen molecule is too big to pass the skin barrier. All the topical products you see with collagen are a waste of your money. You can only increase production through internal supplementation. I would recommend a supplement that has both collagen and hyaluronic acid to really smooth and firm up your skin.

Well, I cannot say for certain that this has ...
Well, I cannot say for certain that this has had any affect on my wrinkles or on the softness of my skin. When I look in the mirror it appears my wrinkles have lessened, but no one including my immediate family has commented on it so who knows. HOWEVER, I did have a huge (in my mind) age spot developing on my cheek. I tried numerous creams that did nothing to remove the age spot. I had an age spot develop near my temple a few years ago that I was able to get rid of with some cream that my wife brought from work. She works for an oral surgeon who also does cosmetic surgery and many companies provide them with samples of all sorts of stuff. Neither me nor my wife could recall the specific cream that worked but all the ones she's been getting recently did not work. I started taking the Phytoceramides in February of 2014 and have been taking them religiously ever since. I noticed the age spot gradually disappearing and as of September of this year it is 100% gone. I'm pleasantly shocked to say the least! I also have noticed my legs, which have always been notoriously dry and chalky, do not have the dry chalky look to them anymore. But this could also be attributed to my increased usage of lotion also??? The disappearance of my age spot alone will always have me raving about this product! Hope it works for you too! Edit Sept 9, 2015: My wife has started taking these too, as she says she can see a difference in the wrinkles on my face. She says my face appears smoother looking than it used to. I'm 55. I started taking these in Feb of 2014, and I've taken them consistently once a day.

Finger nail health is improving
I have suffered with strong but peeling nails for years. I have studied fingernail physiology (Nail Structure and Product Chemistry, Douglas Schoon, author) and I started using jojoba oil religiously, avoiding solvents (water, polish remover) and I saw a tiny bit of improvement, but skipping a few days of oil application and my nails would revert to the crummy condition. I began using this product based on reviews stating that skin moisture retention was improved, not for my finger nails, but after 2 full months of use, I am definitely noticing an improvement in their condition. I used to keep them painfully short because if they peeled I would catch them on clothes, etc, and it was very unpleasant. The other day I realized I had garden dirt under my nail, and I used a file to clean it out, and suddenly it hit me that I have not had a grown out nail to clean under for a long time! And it hasn't peeled as of this post. I also began using CND Solar Oil as often as I can think of it, but never more than once every other day. It contains jojoba oil and almond oil. I am also not protecting my hands from water as diligently as I was for a period of time, and I still am seeing an improvement. I showed the bottle to my doctor during my physical the other day and she thinks that it is possible the combination of nail oil and oral phytoceramides is helping my nails. I am not saying this is a miracle supplement, but so far, I am seeing definite improvement in skin moisture levels and finger nail health. I will keep using it.

This product works!
My skin has never looked or felt better. After about a month of taking this product, I have noticed real results that are confirmed by unsolicited positive comments about my skin. I am in month three, and I'm still seeing improvement. Yes, this product was recommended on a popular TV show in combination with topical vitamin C. I typically am skeptical of anything promoted as a miracle. However, there is real science with real research behind this recommendation. If using topical vitamin C on your face, don't cheap out. Go with a trusted brand like Obagi that stays stable and therefore effective. An unanticipated result of the phytoceramides is that the skin on my entire body is in better condition, not just the skin on my face. I'm a pretty avid swimmer, in the pool for a minimum of one hour five times a week. I no longer use topical lotion on my body and my skin stays hydrated with a healthy looking glow. I also no longer experience tightness and itching in my skin after getting out of the pool. After increasing my intake of foods containing omega fatty acids such as walnuts, avocados, and fish in combination with this product, my skin couldn't be happier or healthier or better looking. Give it a month to work.
