Excellent, highly recommend!
Bought this to do one of the sections our very large gardens, we have 4 sections. We have a big Landroid who has been doing 3 sections for two years, we were about to remove kerbs, cut lines through the driveway & run the wire around the 4th section but got lazy & decided to give this a shot for the 4th section... it would also be a backup if the Landroid failed. We have exclusively used the Lawnmaster for months now on all sections of garden, one at a time... the Landroid is great if the ground is dry but we prefer the Lawnmaster over the Landroid during the winter/autumn/spring months (we live in Northern Ireland so the ground is often soft & wet) as he is lighter... so doesn't dig holes & doesn't get stuck, he gives a just as good cut too. None of our gardens met the recommended criteria, they have high curb drop-offs, sections with no curbs or undefined edges including along the hedges, there are a lot of obstacles & obstructions but he has had virtually no problems, he got stuck on a curb once but it was the first cut & the grass was long so he couldn't see the boundary, hasn't happened again. We do close all gates to the road when he's working but that's just as a precaution as we don't follow the recommended criteria, not really worried but it's easy to do so not a problem. To get the equivalent Landroid with the features of the Lawnmaster to cut our large gardens you could buy 5 or 6 of these... one is enough for any size of gardens... within reason. Battery lasts as long as the Landroid, he's great looking, a very well built machine, cuts perfectly & because you can easily carry him inside (also bearing in mind the difference in cost) when finished, there is a lot less anxiety about him getting stolen at night. I say "him" or "he" because you will not be able to resist giving this guy a name... ours is called Joe ("Joe" the mow, our cat is called Moe so that one was taken), he or she is too cute not to! We are amazed at the quality & features Joe has as standard, especially at this price range. We've spent more on our Landroid buying upgrades just to get it to Joe's specifications & to get it to work as well as Joe... than Joe cost. He also seems to learn... uh oh... Skynet, the machines are taking over, I see how this is going so am folding early... ALL HAIL, BOW DOWN & FEAR JOE! ;)) PS (update)... Joe had a catastrophic problem recently, he went blind or had a mental breakdown... he just refused to go back to work at all, he kept thinking there were obstructions in front of him, it happened during a bank holiday but this company answered very quickly & are sending a bare unit replacement asap... they offered my money back but Joe is great so I'd prefer the replacement... to be honest, Worx would do this too & they'd send a new battery with another fast charger but this is very refreshing, especially given the price point... very, very impressed!!!

Slow but sure. Don't let grass grow too high.
My first machine never moved 1 centimetre. The replacement mower is great. The machine was initially good at finding places to beach itself but not its fault and quickly sorted and this potential problem is covered in the instructions. It is light and easy to carry to the lawn. It is a good idea to carry the battery in the other hand to make it even lighter. No more running a cable out of the house and walking up and down all over the lawn pushing a mower. I can get other jobs done while this mower does its job. Each battery lasts long enough for my needs. Charging doesn't take long anyway. The camera seems to work pretty well detecting grass and the sensors do their job finding obstructions. You hardly hear it when it is working. You aren't likely to upset the neighbours even on a quiet afternoon. It is easy to clean afterwards as not much clings to the mower. I don't let the grass get very long and this means you hardly notice the cuttings. My lawns look a lot better even after a few months of use. The plastic strimmer is fine but the line is sadly not the best quality. I found the auto feed wouldn't work properly until I unwound some line and rewound it. The plastic was sticking to itself. The strimmer is light to use. I would still recommend you buy it with the mower as it also gives you a second battery. Others have named their mower. If I did this I would call mine Patience! Not meant to be a criticism. It is a relative bargain in the robot mower scene. Others are much more expensive. Overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase and am glad I took the advice of another owner who told me how good it was. He wasn't wrong.

Great Product
Very happy with my LawnMaster OcuMow, not so much with the packaging though, basically a brown Amazon box which held the perfectly sturdy box that the mower was sold in - no real need for the Amazon packaging at all! No wires, no apps, no messing around, just plonk the thing on the lawn, shove the battery in (charge it first) and then the safety cut off key. That's all the prep thats needed. The mower is dead simple to operate - press and hold the on/start button until it beeps then wait for all the lights to stop flashing. Once that's done press the auto-mow button for 2 secs until it beeps, then just a quick press of the start button again and off she goes! We only have a smallish lawn of about 50sq metres and so it takes around 2hrs to complete. Our lawn has hard edges all the way around it (sleepers on two sides then patio/brick) so it easily finds the edge and stops in time. If you have soft verges or something growing over the edges of your lawn (bushes/plants etc) then I think you'll need to spend a bit more and get a GPS mower. The first time we used it, the mower kept missing a patch of lawn, so all I had to do was pick it up and place it on the patch it had missed, then hit the spot mow button. The mower then just mows the lawn in ever increasing circles until the bit it missed has been mowed. Worked perfectly. The mower can detect any obsticle in its way (pets, kids etc) and will stop and attempt to go around. It will also stop if its picked up (its not very heavy, and has a well postiioned handle on its top, so its easy to pick up.) My only gripes so far is that it detects the edges of the lawn and stops when its still quite far out - about 6-8 inches from the actual edge, so there's a little bit more grass left around the edges that need strimming than if you were to mow the lawn yourself. The dial that adjusts the cut height is very stiff, and I'm not entirely sure that its accurate either (I set mine to 40mm cut height but it looks shorter than that.) Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase. I got it in the sale for £300.00 so for that price its a real bargin. If it could just get a bit closer to the edges before turning around I'd give it 5 stars, but honestly for the price I think it's a real bargin.

Great performance and cost effective.
Great mower, cost effective and does a great job. Just fit the battery pop it on the lawn and set it off to do it's thing. Copes with our sloping lawn, leaving a great finish, just needs trimming around the edges. Works best if used frequently to keep the grass regularly trimmed. Dad has one, I got one after seeing his and my son plans on getting one for his garden. Great product definitely recommend.

Excellent and good value.
I christened her "Daisy". I've had Daisy over a year now and used her many times - on a shaped sloped area of lawn (small to medium area) which I find a bit of a chore due to slope. She manages it very well. Was fortunate that kerbing around this part of lawn acts as a perimeter barrier that Daisy recognises. She leaves an uncut 6 inch border all round which can quickly be managed by strimmer or lawnmower (I don't do it every mow). When mow is finished I remove the 'key' that allows her to run (I keep it tied to handle when not in use but you could hide it for security against theft of mower). I bring her inside to cardboard box and place battery on recharge. Blade changes quite simple. I sharpened them to begin with but have just put in some new ones. I have another large area to mow with ride-on mower so very glad for Daisy's help on the smaller sloped area. I've grown quite fond of her. Good value for money. All aspects of purchase and delivery straightforward. (Some long presses on specific buttons needed to start her up - when all else fails, READ the instructions Mary!). Genuine review. Recommended, particularly if you have a lawn with an identifiable border all around.

Buy the walk behind version or spend more money on a robotic one.
A good idea but poor implementation. I bought this to help out a friend that was having mobility issues. At the same time another friend bought the normal walk behind mower from the same company. I wish I had bought the walk behind one and I've actually borrowed and used my friends and found it to be superior. I have had a couple of attempts to see if it was my fault, but I'll attach a short video to show one of the issues I had. My own lawn is fairly big and on 2 levels and I have to use a ride on mower, so the video is me doing a test. What you see is that I have started the mower in circular mode, which it actually starts to do fairly well. Then all of a sudden it goes off at an angle and then heads off down the garden, about 30 feet away from the circle starting point! Apart from that, the normal cut selection is not very pleasing to eye. You won't have stripes, it's not something I had considered, but then I wasn't buying it for myself. I bought this as a bundle with the strimmer. The strimmer is lightweight and easy to use. I don't have any issues with it. Although it would be handy to be able to hook it on to a harness and give some relief to my arms. If you're trimming around the edges of a small garden, I don't think it will be an issue. Edit: I thought to be fair that I should add that I have since discovered in the manual, when in spot mode and the mower has covered about 6 feet, it automatically goes into random mode !!!!! I don't think that's a smart move. Id also add that while in spot mode it managed to miss small sections in the circle and I'll have to go over the area again.

💥Very effective and easy to use. No wires; recognises edges and obstacles.
I followed instructions and with some difficulty got the mower going. Stopped it very soon after setting it going. Then COULDN'T get it to function again! 😨 Soooo.... Waited some months until the following year, when my son then got it going. NOT difficult actually. The length of time keeping the buttons pressed down was soon worked out and understood. Since then fully functional. This little robot Mower is a delight; very effective and easy to use. I call 'him' Benjie because, 'It feels like he definitely has a 'character' of his own🙄😳🤔'. On a well tended lawn, the mower will behave beautifully and effortlessly provide a well kept/cut, well fed, green and pleasant lawn. My lawn hadn't had regular care for a number of years, so although it had been cut relatively recently, there were areas of uneven, clumpy growth. We were most bemused when 'Benjie' immediately showed a definite preference for particular areas of the lawn! This was equally evident the next day when, after placing him at the bottom of the garden, we soon found he'd 'hi-tailed' away from this area and was happily re-mowing the area mowed the previous day. It seemed that he recognised his 'Turf'! After a little 'battle of 'wills'😨🙄,all's well and my lawn is uniformly smooth and well cut😁🎈🎈! By end of September, I expect it to be all over green as well. Certain areas in the lawn were longer or clumped, BENGIE would immediately turn and head off in a different direction...... Every time! 😳🤔 We had a game..... I stood in front of him... no matter which way he turned, there was an obstruction.... ME! Eventually Benjie, seemed to accept that there was only one free path....... Through the 'grass jungle'. (quite long growth, but not too long). Once he'd cottoned on and done the first cut of the rejected areas, from then on, I could leave him to carry on. NB. Even though I put obstacles around the areas less than acceptable to keep Bengie IN the area that I wanted cutting, much to our amusement, Benjie managed to escape every time😯🤔! Solution...😁 I kept standing in front of him so that there was only a single non-obstacle route available.....😀 It worked🎈🎈.... So far, a very robust, waterproof, neat and effective little mower, with a personality it seems!😀✨; well worth purchasing. Very easy to use and not too heavy for older persons to manage. Fun to watch. Restful too; noise.... very acceptable! Charging doesn't take too long; the battery is easily removed and slotted into the charger. The reverse is also without difficulty. Finally, this little mower does a good job, easily recognises obstacles and boundaries and reroutes without problem. The automatic mulching, which not only feeds the lawn, but disposes of the need to collect and dispose of cuttings is a great bonus too! I'm looking forward to a well kept, well fed healthy and pleasingly green lawn next year, all without my effort and without too much expense! Definitely would recommend. End of summer update on my little mower. 100% approval. Its very restful, also entertaining, to sit in the garden while Benjie quietly tootles about mowing the lawn. My rather dismal and neglected lawn is looking so much better, evenly Green and well cut. I feel that by next year the lawn will have completely recovered from the it's previous neglect. Really efficient, effective, light in weight and easy to use.

Fantastic results, great time-saver
I bought this a while ago and thought I would test it out before revewing. One of the best purchases I have made and definitely value for money. It's very easy to use, very quiet so mowing the lawn on a Sunday morning doen't disturb the neighbours! No more grass cuttings to dispose of! Make sure the grass is short by giving it a conventional mow a few days before as it doesn't seem to like long grass. After that, I use it about twice a week to keep the lawn looking short and neat. It takes about 3 hours to cut a small lawn and looks like it is moving randomly but the end effect is brilliant. It does recognise all but one edge in my garden. This is in the front on an open driveway, no garden walls. I had to retrieve it when it veered off down the pavement! I overcame this by putting a few spare house bricks in its path and this did the job. I have confidence in it now that it won't go wandering and feel more relaxed about just leaving it to do it's job instead of watching over it. I do still have to occasionally strim the edges as it leaves about 15cm uncut. A couple of my neighbours are impressed with the results and how effortless it looks to keep a lovely neat lawn and now intend to buy one!
