Actually the dog loves it, it was his christmas pressie. Lou sounds are heard all over the house as s/he is the dog's fave toy. the toy is quite large so might overwhelm a small dog or puppy. It's sturdily made and appears to be washable too

My Doberman loved his toy, but within 2 days he'd ripped off an antler, 4 days, the stitching around the back leg was loose, then a front leg and now the other leg has ripped stitching. My dog is not rough with it, but the joining is poor. Once I've stitched it back up its fine, so will probably have to reinforce all the stitching myself.

Lovely toy, however when it arrived various seams were very poorly joined. Before I allowed the dog anywhere near it, had to sew around a few areas (mainly around the legs) to ensure the stuffing couldn't be pulled straight out. Saying that, it's lasted very well since (about 3 months now, bought when dog about 12 weeks old) and has been played with frequently. Squeakers in each foot and keeps the dog entertained well when she's in the mood for it.

This is very similar to an older green platypus dog toy that my puppies managed to destroy in record time. Keeping that in mind I’m going to wait awhile before letting them play with it. It’s adorable and doesn’t deserve an untimely death. They’ve managed to chew holes into two supposedly tough toys in less than a day. Their permanent teeth are coming in so maybe there’s hope for the future.

My dog loves this toy. We've replaced a few times. She licks the mane down with love and snuggles with it. She is 40 lbs, an exuberant player, and only destroys toys when they're already ripped. This one lasts fairly well.

The bunny arrived today....I was very surprised at how big it was....I read where it was recommended for dogs of 'all sizes'. It is 3 X larger than my 7 lb. shih tzu and no way in the world she could she ever pick it up with her tiny mouth. I doubt she could even pick it up by the leg. The middle squeaker is so loud we all startled when I pushed it. She is not the least bit interested in it due to its size. At the moment I placed it beside her on the carpet and I couldn't help but laugh....it makes her look so small. It is cute, soft and cuddly but unfortunately definitely NOT for tiny dogs. I will give it as a Christmas gift to my daughter who has a Labrador retriever.
