I do not believe that an actual magician had anything to do with the production of this set. Inside the box are a couple plastic bags filled with magic looking stuff. The problem is that the tricks in the poorly written instructions are often not possible, There are a few tricks that do not work with the props provided

This was a lot of fun for my kids! They played with this for hours. Definitely agree it is good for kids 8 and up as the product recommended. Magic set comes with a book with step by step instructions to perform each trick. My kids even started making up their own!

I was looking for a birthday present for my niece’s 10 year old son. I wanted something to boost his confidence and the Discovery Box of Magic did that! Once the box is opened, it won’t be long before you have an amateur magician on your hands!

Very simple design. Perfect for my 9 year old. Easy to learn.

My kids love this kit. Ours came with a booklet of magic tricks the tricks you can do with instructions. There are several you can do ( I would say about 15) and the kids can play with it for hours learning and trying to trick each other. Super fun.

Don't buy this set if you'd like your child to learn magic. The instruction book is useless; some tricks aren't accurately described and they don't have a videos teaching tricks as they advertise.
