Q: Hello! i was wondering if these strings would fit a short scale bass? specifically an ibanez mikro short scale (gsrm20)? thank you!

I did put these on a small 36in. Bass for our son while he was learning to play Bass with Rocksmith 2014 and I used them too!! After we learned to play we switched to DDT (Dr. Drop Tuning) Strings which last A VERY LONG TIME especially if you play in different tunings regularly!! Hope this helps.

I am sorry, I don't know what size 9 bass strings are. I have used the Dr Neon 45 bass strings, they were a lot thicker and heavier. Then I found these which are 40 and much lighter and easier on your fingers. I love them! The Dr Neon Strings seem to last longer for me and the sound is amazing! Hope this might help you.
