I use this cocoa powder for baking, like cookies and whole wheat snacks, and it works really well. The flavor is rich and blends nicely into the dough. A little goes a long way. I’m very happy with the quality and would buy it again.

Ok...I just received this Cacao Powder in the mail. It was a day early :) Like that! I have to say that people were saying it tastes so rich and full of flavor. One even said that she wet her finger and stuck it in the bag and it tasted good. No bitterness. Like a chocolate bar. Sorry, but I didn't get the same result. I have made me and the Man a cup with just water. It doesn't taste good. I wasn't looking for taste though. I was looking for good results with cholesterol buildup. So, I will be back on that one. I do know that it isn't bitter like the regular cocoa that I have been drinking as a child. If this was used as a hot chocolate, chocolate shake or smoothie, Honey, it would be Delish. I will do that from time to time, but right now, I'm interested in our heart, brain and artery health and this can provide what we need. I will get back to you after a couple of weeks. This should help with our blood pressure. The cost was fine for the richness. It blends really well in warm or cold water. Can't wait to see our energy levels go up. It's supposed to help with your metabolism. Pure ingredients makes me feel at ease with this product. I think it is a good quality too. Thanks for this product.

Just love this cacao powder! In a mason jar or 1 quart glass pitcher, I use a 1 heaping tablespoons in 1 1/2 cups of warm milk, dash of salt, whisk, heat briefly again, whisk again and it is wonderful! Sometimes I add a touch of cinnamon or vanilla bean. Does not need sugar as the sweetness of the milk is sufficient since there is no bitterness that is caused by processing like alkaline cocoa powder has. Works well in baking, too. This is a wonderful treat and how I enjoy my dark chocolate flavor needs!

I gave it only 5 stars because there weren't more. What a way to start off the new year. Shoveled snow from half the driveway until my fingers froze. Heated a kettle of water... 2 heaping tsp in the mug, 3/4 water and stirred in half and half. Good. I tried it at various strengths. Not bitter at all. Very smooth. No sweetener required. This is good stuff. Back to clearing snow. Happy New Year. lol

I have been buying this cacao powder for 6 years now. I make a chocolate smoothie for breakfast every morning. I've tried making my smoothie with other cacao powders but they never taste as good as when I use this one. We also like to mix it with maple syrup and use it as a chocolate sauce for our oatmeal, fruit, and chocolate milk. It also makes delicious baked goods and hot chocolate!
